  • Love this game!!

Both my dad and I have become hooked on this game. Lots of strategy and intrigue, and a great community!!!
  • Useless and Xenophobic Community

Update July 2023: Apparently higher tier players can request to go to lower leagues, which in a sense is fine, however this game is solely based on historical data giving them advantages. The issue is when they go all the way back to rookie and have 10+ seasons of data and win every race taking away what fun this game has.

I find the game highly intriguing, lots of depth as far as the business and technical side of racing. Would be an awesome game if it wasn’t for the terrible community that’s around it. If you search or ask for help the prominent term is FOBY or “Figure it out by yourself”. Even with non-competitive questions, you post something in the forum and you get chastised by half the responses, then the other half is people arguing amongst themselves. Very xenophobic and cliquish which makes it hard to join teams and also get anything useful from the community, which is how they have the game structured. It does have a tutorial and wiki to give you the basics but not enough for anyone with limited knowledge of the engineering side of racing would be able to play effectively. They encourage you to join a team or ask in the forum which are both pretty terrible tasks, which is disappointing because the game/simulation itself is rather fun.

  • Great game with lots of options and Accessibility

As a blind man, I have been looking for a racing game to play that does not involve complex audio, or lots of gestures and hard situations. This game gives me all of that with lots of options to customize your car, and lots of details. However, I wish it would describe to you what you are doing when you raise and lower things such as the brakes, the gears, the engine, suspension, etc. It does not describe to you very well what you are doing to each item when you raise or lower the numbers, it just only tells you that you are raising or lowering the numbers for each section for example, the engine or the gearbox. It would make it easier for to fine-tune the car if they were more details. For example, when you raise the brakes from 50% to 70% are you getting more power in the front or the back? When you raise the gearbox numbers, are you making the years longer, or shorter? I would also appreciate some sound effects in the game for example, for test drives, practicing, and even some starter sounds and revs and air ranch sound for when you are selecting different options and adjusting different things in the game would be nice. It would also be cool to have a section where you can buy. An upgrade reel makes and models of vehicles. Once you have reached a certain level in the game. And something else to consider would be to add a drag racing part to this game. Thank you for making a racing game that is not too complex, and has great Accessibility for the blind.
