April 3, 2024

In this update, we've ironed out a few more glitches for your gaming pleasure: • Fixed an issue where sometimes not all episodes were displayed for shows in the Library. • Addressed a bug causing the episode list in the Library to freeze momentarily for shows with extensive episode lists. • Actors already hired for episodes currently in the scriptwriting phase will no longer attempt to audition again. • Resolved an error in the calculation of franchise savings when scrolling the screen. • Episodes from shows with canceled pilots, which were later picked up by another network, are now correctly scheduled for airing.

March 26, 2024

We are bring you another round of bugfixes: • Fixed an issue where the remaining turns for episode production were displayed inaccurately. • Resolved a glitch where pilot rejections didn't always appear on the Weekly Events screen. • Corrected a problem causing episodes not to air as scheduled after a show moved to a new network. • Eliminated a crash that occurred when opening a show in the Library with only 1 episode and no score.

2024.2.2

March 22, 2024

We've created two significant under-the-hood improvements: • Unified Show Experience: We've revamped how shows from competing studios work to match the player-created shows more closely. Before, shows from competitors had different data, causing confusion, since our new Library room now displays all show data. This overhaul makes the experience more seamless, though keep an eye out for any unexpected bugs. Also, note that there's a one-time update process for existing, recently aired competing shows that kicks in when you first open your studio after the update. • Game Save Fix: Encountered an invisible studio building on your old game saves? We've squashed that bug, so you can jump back into managing your studio without a hitch.

2024.2.1

March 13, 2024

We've made several quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes: • Fixed an issue where the Library opened slowly after extensive gameplay. • Addressed long game launching times for larger save files. • Corrected a bug that allowed players to tap and edit promo images for shows they do not own. • Ensured changing a promo image now properly refreshes the show list on the Library's main screen. • Prevented the End Week button on the Weekly Events screen from being tapped multiple times. • Fixed a loophole that allowed episodes with a score below the minimum to be released despite the release button being disabled.

2024.2

March 8, 2024

We're thrilled to continue our journey on the development roadmap of the eagerly awaited Manage Your Own Network feature, chosen by our fans, by introducing the Library, along with an exciting surprise — Promo Images for shows! This update, along with the January release and the next one, lays the foundation for network management without yet integrating new network-specific functionalities. This phased approach leads to the major 2024.4 update, which will fully unlock network management capabilities. We've opted for this strategy to keep you engaged with regular updates. So What’s New in This Update? New Early Access Features for Level 2 Supporter Subscribers (will be available to everyone in the next feature update): • Introducing the Library: A robust replacement for the current Shows screen, located in the Management Room. • Show List Screen: An enhanced list within the Library, with detailed information about shows. It features both your own shows and those from competing studios, with extensive filtering and sorting options for comprehensive insights. • Show Detail Screen: Revamped with new functionalities and crucial new information, such as studio name, show status, logline editing at any time, release date, total viewership, average episode score, and management options. • Episode List Screen: Offers detailed information for seasons and its episodes. • Episode Detail Screen: Updated to include viewership numbers and release dates, even for scheduled episodes. • Promo Images for Your Shows: Over 100 images per genre, totaling 1566, to select distinct, theme-aligned promotional images for each show, enhancing uniqueness and fun. 2024.1.1

January 25, 2024

We resolved three issues reported by our players: • Building levels were occasionally disappearing or reordering, but that should no longer be the case. If you encountered this problem, you might notice an increase in the number of levels displayed, as the issue previously prevented some levels from showing. • Previously, when a new season was ordered, it skipped a season if there was a pending offer from a network to switch your show. This glitch has been resolved, and while we can't retroactively fix skipped seasons, it shouldn't cause any further issues. • Showrunner and Marketing Offices were not clearable even when the number of employees allowed it. This functionality has now been corrected, and it should work as intended.

Happy New Year! Though 2024 has just begun, we're thrilled to roll out the initial phase of the much-anticipated Managing Your Own Network feature set. This feature was chosen by our Level 2 Supporter Subscribers through our Feature Voting system as the next one to be developed. Before diving into the update details, let's clarify that this first phase sets the groundwork for network management without providing the network-related functionality just yet. Two more preparation phases (2024.2 and 2024.3) will follow, leading up to the comprehensive update in 2024.4, which will include everything needed for network management. We've chosen this phased approach to avoid making you wait too long for a fresh update. Now, let's explore what's packed into this update! For our Level 2 Supporter Subscribers, we're introducing the following Early Access Features that will be available to everyone in the upcoming feature update: • Briefing Room: A new room consolidating action-assignment and decision-making tasks, streamlining your management experience. This room allows you to manage all actions and decisions in one place, instead of in different rooms and popup screens. This was also necessary because the network management features will add a whole lot more actions and decisions, and there would be chaos without a central place to manage all of that. • Pulsing Icon: The Briefing Room's door displays a pulsing icon, alerting you to unused action slots and pending tasks in the current turn, ensuring you easily notice them. • UI Enhancements: We removed the decision button from the footer, and action management from the Management, Showrunner and Marketing Offices, replacing them with information on the current activities of showrunners and marketing managers, mirroring the functionality of the Recording Studio, Editing, and Test Screening Room. • Starting Fresh: New games will now begin with the Briefing Room as the initial room, providing a centralized hub for all your actions from the start. • Cash Boost: For ongoing games, we've added an extra $10M to kickstart your Briefing Room setup and initiate new actions. For all players, we're introducing: • Tutorial and Knowledge Base Updates: Stay informed with the latest features related to the Briefing Room. • New In-Game Video Ad: A fresh video ad, alongside the existing one, promoting subscriptions for non-subscribed players. • Ad Improvements: Larger close and audio buttons on ads for improved usability. • Bug Fixes and Enhancements: Addressed an issue with immediate season starting to air after the previous season run out of episodes, added alphabetical ordering of shows on the new action screen, and various smaller bug fixes. Features previously exclusive to Level 2 Supporter Subscribers are now accessible to everyone: • Create and expand Show Franchises, which provide various benefits. • When creating a new show, choose its Franchise Type: an Original Show, a Spin-Off, or a Reboot. • To create a Spin-Off, pick a parent show with at least one aired season. • For a Reboot, choose a show that ended at least a decade ago. • Enjoy increased pitching chances for Spin-Offs and Reboots, as networks are more inclined to explore additions to established franchises. • Leverage the natural intrigue of viewers for related shows within a franchise, leading to a boost in viewership. • Benefit also from cost savings by sharing resources among shows within the same franchise. • On the Show screen, within the Attributes section, quickly identify if a show is an Original, Spin-Off, or Reboot. • A new section on the Show screen highlights whether a show is part of a franchise, offering a list of all other shows in that franchise. • Moreover, the franchise show list distinguishes between Parent, Spin-Off, or Reboot shows related to the one you're currently exploring. • You are also able to explore related shows by tapping on any of them to view their dedicated screens. Stay tuned for more updates!

Reviews of Endless Studio

  • In Game Ads are about the Game

The concept is fun, but the fact that the in game ads are just ads about the game and trying to get people to do a MONTHLY subscription is wild. The game is decent but not good enough for a subscription. Being that it’s a few years old I am confused on why the devs stuck to a subscription model. And the ad popping up ever 2-3 turns makes me want to delete the game.

Edit: Adding this bit due to developer response. One time purchase would be a better option. I don’t think it’s a great business model to force a subscription because with the way ads are set up right now, at times the game seems unplayable. Again, being that this game is a few years old it shouldn’t still be a subscription model.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your rating and review, we are glad that you like our game. :) Unfortunately if we don't do the subscription, there would be no revenue from the game at all and we couldn't work on it. Our game is a niche game, which is very popular within a certain community but doesn't have the broad appeal to go mass market, therefore if we would have one time purchases, we had to abandon the game really quickly, because eventhough the game is a few years old, we are still developing it constantly.
  • Payment model

I like the game a lot. I want to be ads free. But I’m not paying a monthly sub for it. If you guys ever offer a one time fee for it as well as other features, I’d consider it more. Games like this I tend to gravitate towards more, like before BitLife really blew up. So like a one time payment for super features and then later developed features and whatnot like with them is something I’m willing to do, but not a monthly payment. Mostly because I don’t play these games enough on a daily or monthly basis to consider continuously giving money for it. I’d say considering the love I see you guys I’d be willing to do a one time of 9.99 USD for that kind of one time unlock. But because of the lack of choice for the ad removal and such, I won’t be playing in short bursts of obsessiveness like I normally do. I’ll check back sometimes to see if you guys offer those deals.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your rating and review, we are glad that you like our game. :) Unfortunately if we don't do the subscription, there would be no revenue from the game at all and we couldn't work on it.
  • New Game Idea

I Love Your Game so Much and I want there to be a Endless Music Studio game. In the game you will start out with 1,500,000 to 100,000,000 dollars ( optional ) and you will have to run auditions for singers, drummers, etc and you will be able to sign someone to your label and promote, produce and sell their songs. You can even let a film company buy your artist song for an optional price but them accepting or denying it depends on your music quality and company fame. You also get to pick any artist from any genre of music and you can create your own genre of music. If you like this Idea could you please post it on your website and please read this because I really think this would be a fun game to make.

    Developer Response

Thank you for rating and review, and your idea of course. We are happy that you like our game! Unfortunately we don't have the capacity to work on other projects.
