Organizing symptoms

I've been using human for about a week to track symptoms of multiple illnesses and so far it's been great! However, I experience many different kinds of symptoms for each illness and the way they're organized in-app is overwhelming to me. I wish there was a way to reorder the symptoms and the order in which they appear on the daily check-in in a way that makes sense to me.

It’s free!? I’m shocked and couldn’t be happier

This app works great, lets you track medications, symptoms, diagnosis’s, etc. Haven’t had any problems so far, the interface is really pretty too. It even has options to connect your provider to your account, but I’m not sure how it would work. I’m just surprised it’s completely free and there’s no hidden paywalls like other apps, bless.

Love it!

I downloaded this app and I am so excited because it is almost everything that I have been looking for, for myself and my patients!! My only suggestion is to enable a feature that allows you to add in items related to the menstrual cycle in its own box, so we can monitor if or how the menstrual cycle affects other symptoms!

What a joke

What a silly app - does nothing meaningful. As someone with health anxiety, I get more anxious at the though of trying to track my health symptoms.

Response from developer

Hey There. The app is specifically designed to help people track their symptoms and treatments, so they have all their information in one place to work better with their healthcare team. We're sorry this wasn't clear to you from our app description. We would love to understand your feedback on what you expected from the app, and how we can make it better for people like you. Feel free to reach out to us at support@human.health. 💜

Needs more development

Whilst initial set up of a condition suggests symptoms to look out for, any subsequent conditions added later do not.
Logging symptoms each day: a list is suggested that doesn’t include those noted as needing to be logged occasionally.
No link between the conditions & the symptoms.
‘Insights’ are no such thing, merely a summary of what was entered. An insight would be whether the treatment is impacting the severity of symptoms for a specific condition.
You can add conditions not diagnosed, but suspected, but the app doesn’t seem to then help to link symptoms to help support the hypothesis of having the condition.
Overall, the right data is input by the user, but the app doesn’t do much with it of any use.

Nuanced and invaluable

I’m a complicated medical story, and I’ve long felt like it’s a full-time job to manage my symptoms, medications, etc. I thought I had a good handle on everything. But only a week into using this app, and I’m already feeling so much more on top of things than I ever thought possible! The support team is super responsive and seeks feedback for how to make the app better—which I love. I can’t wait to see how much better this can even get. I’m blown away. Get this app.

Really helpful

Really helpful app, helps to keep track of medication, and symptoms. I have submitted feedback and suggestions to make it better and they always get back to me which is super reassuring and makes you feel heard.

Why can’t minors go into the app?

Hello, I am a 11 year old child, my family is mentally abusive and doesn’t really listen when I say I need a checkup, it took my sister weeks to go to the hospital, her pinky was BROKEN. The same for my finger, which still has the scar as I type. I think I might have POTS because I get dizzy for no reason and after I ate food with slat on it it got better, and I have to document my symptoms because they never believe me. I have been drinking water recently as well. And if I even SAY anything about thinking I have a condition my parents BLOW OFF, my mom had a stroke as well and my dad doesn’t drive us to the doctor cause he’s lazy, so this is the only option I have to get even a tiny bit of help. And my heart rate goes up randomly, I am not thinking or claiming to have pots cause people on social media do, I have severe adhd, ocd, depression, ALL DIAGNOSED. That’s it, thank you for taking the time to read it (if you did)

Response from developer

We're sorry to hear about your situation. Due to certain privacy laws in the country that you live (laws not made by us), minors are not able to directly enter certain types of information into apps like Human Health, which is why we have designed the app so that a parent or guardian can input information on their behalf. If you would like, you can work with a guardian to input your information, and once you reach legal age, (depending on where you live), you can have the account transferred into your name. We hope this helps. 💜

Chronicaly Ill - Organization

I've been wanting to make or find an app like this for a while and hate traditional notebooks or symptom trackers that doctors offices use.

This is cool so far and I’d love to be able to submit input in a more formal way about what works best for those will lots of medical needs. I know this app is intended to be for all user, but it could have a more focused main page or customization.

5/5 so far but I'd love to be able to give more continuous feedback and wish the app had more customization.

Helpful, Precise Tracker!

I have been using human on IOS for a few days which is a but of an accomplishment with my ADHD, but to that point- I would appreciate if there was a feature/patch for when a user is scrolling through their symptoms, (like in the Average, Trend, and Log Today menus) if they do select and log a data point, the user is returned to the section of the menu they were prior to the entry? If that makes sense? It feels like an endless scroll sometimes when trying to ensure I've logged my complete day accurately.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback rnj! We really appreciate it. We are working on a feature as we speak that will help you navigate more quickly as you log symptoms - it should be live in the next 2-3 weeks. We will also share your feedback about the scroll position on your Insights tab with our team for a fix. In the meantime if you have more feedback we’d love to learn more - reach out to support@human.health and our team would be happy to assist you. We love our users and we take on every bit of feedback we get. - The Human Health team
