i had a terrible experience with this app. i downloaded the app to look into what they had to offer & it had me put my bank account information in. i never seen anything about it charging me. i just thought it was to link so it could start saving me money & track my spending. the next day they took $119 out of my account without my consent. if there was a place where they said they were going to take my money it definitely wasn’t very noticeable. when i tried to contact them about it & ask why they charged me they were very rude & not helpful at all. i would have just dealt with it if they wouldn’t have been so rude because it was my mistake for not reading the fine print. but i do not appreciate them being disrespectful & rude. i work in customer service & no matter who is in the wrong you should always be respectful & kind no matter what. i definitely DO NOT recommend this app or company at all.

I Don’t Do Reviews
I normally don’t do reviews, but really appreciate what Fizz does. I have a really crummy credit score, and have for a long time. In my last year of college, I realized I had no credit record other than the loans I had for school, so I went and got a big credit card company college card and ran my credit into the ground because I wasn’t responsible. I remember the exact day I was on tik tok and saw a tiktoker (I think his name is Tyler Prue or Kyler Prue) showing a commercial for Fizz. It was so bonkers that I looked it up. I learned more from their website about how credit works than I did from semi financially-literate family in about 15 minutes. I decided I would try it out because from the research I did (there was not many reviews because it was pretty new), it seemed a fool proof way to build credit. Fizz is really good. They have little things they teach you about how credit works and how to learn to be responsible. The best thing is it really doesn’t function like a credit card, but more like a debit card. So I could never put myself in the whole like I had with other cards. Sorry this is all a little round about, but I truly do think this is a great beginner card. P.S. I never used the premium version. I’ve thought about it but have not committed yet. So this review is just for the base version.

This app has truly bettered my relationship with money. The apps use of incentives to get me to pay my balance on time and use my buying power on things that will give me more points to use in the future is genius. I also enjoy that I don’t have access to my full spending power and that my access is blocked if i don’t pay off my balance within a day. which is much different than a traditional card. the developers of this app truly are looking out for those of us who are just getting into the credit sphere and need a strong foundation! totally recommend for other college kids :)

Stop using Fizz Card
I’ve been with fizz for several months now, and my recent experience has left me disappointed. After losing my job, I reached out to discuss my last $400 payment, hoping for some understanding given my circumstances. Unfortunately, their response was anything but compassionate. They firmly stated that I must pay by next month or face reporting, showing a complete lack of empathy.
I expected a company that promotes itself as supportive of credit-building to offer more flexibility, especially during tough times. Life can throw unexpected challenges our way, and I felt that [Bank/Card Service Name] did not stand by their promise to help customers in need.
I strongly advise others to consider using a different service. It’s crucial to choose a financial partner that truly understands and supports you during difficult times, rather than one that feels heartless and uncaring.

Fizz is hands down the best app for students. It’s an awesome space where students can stay connected, express their thoughts, and share moments without any pressure. What makes Fizz stand out is how it feels like a tight-knit community, tailored specifically to student life. Whether I’m catching up on campus news, sharing a funny meme, or just browsing through relatable posts, it’s the perfect break between classes. It’s a nice training card
Bros I’m not even a student yet but chose to get this card due to me being 21 with no credit established yet and no co-signer to help me get approved for anything else. They taught me how to properly use the card and how to use credit; unlike most cc companies where they just give you a card without any knowledge on how to use it. Im learning that there’s a strategy to using a credit card and I feel like this company actually cares about me to provide free lessons on credit usage. Within 2 months of using this card and paying off on time, I finally have a credit score established!! I also get crazy amount of points that I can spend on many things including transportation. If you are a first time credit card user, or maybe even a “seasoned” credit card user who just needs a card to teach them about how to use a credit card, get this card!!!! It’s a nice training card.

So I’ve been using Fizz for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best tools out there for students who want to take control of their finances. The app makes it so easy to track spending at a glance, create budgets, and even check your credit score. Best choice I have ever made!
After using Fizz for more than 2 months, I love it! Great customer service, the best I have seen so far Constantly sending you update of your payments to make sure there is no mistake! My credit score was easy to track as well, especially for someone who has never own a credit card or even has a slight bit of knowledge about credit score! Overall, this card is a great start for anyone who want to learn about maintaining good credit score and maybe even beyond that! For me, I might not get a credit card anytime soon as I find Fizz just work best for my current needs!

Hands down, Fizz is the best app for building credit and/or gaining a card without going thru a credit decision process. The app is user friendly and for those just learning how to properly utilize credit, this card & app will offer you a wealth of knowledge & experience while also providing you protection from doing damage to your credit thru the auto-pay feature. It eliminates the worry of forgetting to pay as well as it helps to build healthy spending habits so that you aren’t going crazy and spending more than you can afford (not to mention the ability to monitor your credit!).
Do yourself a favor and get started on the right foot. Get a Fizz card, use the FREE in-app resources to build your financial IQ, and avoid all of the traps that other cards have that result in you becoming a lifetime servant to interest payments.
