Just Sad.
This is the first time I have ever written a review. Ever. I don’t see them as a good use of time and feel everyone should approach things based on their own need and come to their own conclusion if it is a good fit for them. But this feels extraordinarily different as everyone coming to an all in one solution like Allana will have great hopes and will be told they will be well taken care of believing they can smoothly transition their business set up into this platform.
That has not been my experience at all. From the beginning I was promised help as I had expressed that the set up would be too extensive- and I was told I’d have help with it all “just send us the files” “just tell us what you want and we will get it done”.
None of this happened.
Spent months setting up websites, workflows, email templates all that would work for a while but then a massive update would happen and knock all the work done out. Meaning what had worked no longer works.
+ Templates that you cannot re write over and use as a template. I was instructed to type it all out in a word document first and then add it into the template.
+ Clunky notification settings that were set up perfectly and worked great but then suddenly I’d stop getting notifications and was told I set it up wrong. Clearly didn’t make sense since I was getting these notifications for weeks without an issue.
+ All of a sudden I could no longer see the email statistics. Something I was using all along without a problem but then it just stopped. Was told I couldn’t see statistics under bulk actions but clearly they are not reading emails or looking into the issue since I wasn’t doing a bulk action. I was using their campaign dashboard.
Its as though they don’t even understand the language or titles of their own platform since when you put in a help desk ticket with specific information you might as well be speaking in a foreign language.
I’m disappointed to be a this point, less than a year in using the system and creating more work arounds causing massive disruption in my business. I hope they can make massive improvements soon so they can overcome the obstacles as this is a great solution for small business owners. I’m just sad that it’s made running my business difficult and utterly frustrating.
