Leave a Review Sequel
Almost perfect media tracker
Wrote a review but it wasn’t finished and got accidentally submitted. So I’m rewriting it. Anyways, first off, I really love this app. I’ve tried many other media tracker apps but this one is by the far, the best and easiest one to use. It keeps everything organized in a nice and simple way. However, what I would like to see, is better customization in the tv series category. It would be nice to be able to create my own categories and sort them how I want them to be, by recently added, title, etc. Also, would be helpful if the Watchlist category was renamed something else, as you already have it has the main title, don’t need it as a category too. Something more like Released or Premiering would be better. Overall, it’s an excellent app and can’t wait to see where it goes in the future.Show lessSequel is hands-down, one of my favorite apps.
From the moment I downloaded Sequel, thanks to David Pierce from The Verge, it became an integral part of my daily routine. I’m a movie and TV buff, and I watch a lot of content, so it can be challenging to remember when new stuff releases. The new episode reminders and tracking feature is incredibly useful for me. I love that there’s a little note section for everything. After watching something, I can write a brief review, leave notes for myself, and then rate it. The only downside for me is that I wish the ratings were integrated into a larger service like Rotten Tomatoes.
The collections feature is really nice and very helpful for further organization. The most recent update, which adds the ability to modify the completion date, is also handy when adding previously watched content. I think the subscription might not be super necessary for most people, but I’m happy to pay it knowing that I’m supporting the developer. Overall, Sequel is one of my favorite apps, and I use it every single day. I’m excited to see where the development goes in the future and what new features will be introduced.Show lessFantastic media tracker
Great-looking interface, with a deceptively simple, easy to understand UI that packs a lot of useful features without seeming complicated at all.
And the new “Magic Lookup” is one of the best AI-powered features I’ve seen. If you’re reading a web page that mentions one or more movies, shows, books, or games that you want to track in Sequel, just send that URL Sequel in the Share sheet and it’ll find them.Show less
