Love this app!
1. An Apple Watch app with complications
2. A long press action to reset the timer. ( as it is it is challenging to get into the app to reset from the iPhone widget.
These are nice to haves- solid 5stars.

Thank you! 🙏 Very much appreciated. Quick feedback on your feature requests: 2. is not possible because Apple doesn’t allow long-press gestures in widgets. (That actually makes sense as long-press is reserved for the widget’s context menu which is provided by the system.) I’ve actually already created a proof of concept to bring the app to Apple Watch and it feels very “at home” there. However, there is a LOT of work involved in actually shipping a watch app and at the moment, I don’t have the time to do that. TL;DR: A Watch App might come some time in the future, but certainly not within the next few months. Hope you enjoy the app nevertheless.
Free … and great!
I highly recommend it!

That’s an accurate assumption. ;) Thanks a lot for your praise. 🙏 I’m very happy you like the app.
It’s illegal that it has less than 100 reviews
Response from developer
Thanks for making it legal! 😉💚
Great app!

Interesting! I never thought of that. I understand your use case and will evaluate it. However, the chances for that feature to come are pretty low as it would definitely add complexity and the core goal of this app is simplicity. If I allow adding halves, other people will ask for thirds, quarters, and more and this is really hard to get right without messing up the beauty and simplicity of the user interface. Unfortunately, there are also plenty of other features on my list with a higher priority, so I habe to disappoint you that this feature won’t be coming any time soon (if at all). I hope you still get value out if the app!
Widget doesn't work anymore
Response from developer
Maybe you should. The App Store has a huge variety of counter apps. There’s no reason for you to stick to this one. I wonder if you react the same way when you get a present for your birthday. You might sometimes get a present that you have no use for, but then you either give it to someone else who likes it or you return it in a grateful manner. I develop this app in my spare time after work and simply want to share something that might be useful to others. It’s completely free and I get nothing in return. If the app is not suitable for your use-case, just don’t use it. But please don’t spread negative vibes on the Internet. Concerning your problem: If you accidentally hit the counter, you don’t need to delete and readd it. You simply tap on the widget (outside of the button) to open it in the app and then drag the counter button down to reduce the count by 1. You can also reset it in the app by tapping the “Edit” button. The widget is not intended as a fully featured app and in fact, that would be against Apple’s design guidelines. Hope this helps.
Love it
It’s free with no in app purchases and Haven’t noticed any ads.
The only thing that would make it better is if it logged the counters per day.
Response from developer
Because there are none. 😉 I have already thought about adding statistics/logging at some point but it’s a bit more work as the current data model doesn’t support logging. Might come in the future, but not any time soon, I’m afraid. Thanks for your kind review and the suggestion! 🙏
Just what I wanted
looks good but limited use

You can also count with a single tap if you want to by opening the 3 dots menu in the lower right corner and selecting “Count” as the “Counter Tap Action”. It’s up to your preference. The app was originally designed for the use case where you want to count many items at a time, like passengers on a train or people waiting in a line. In those situations you’ll be happy to have a full screen counter so you don’t need to look at the screen all the time when you count to not accidentally hit another counter. When you want to have multiple full screen counters, you need a way to switch between them. So this design is on purpose. If the “Counter Tap Action” still doesn’t satisfy your needs, there are other great counter apps on the App Store for this, for example, there’s an app called “Tally Counter - Click & Count” that allows you to count immediately when you open the app.
Finally!

Thank you! I’m happy the app has a motivational effect and lets you get things done which are more on the unpleasant side… Happy sorting! 😉
