  • Not perfect, but working towards it.

    Have had the 4.0 cuffs close to a year now. Have had some issues with the product but Nick was quick to offer support and replacements where necessary. There are bugs for sure, but on balance they work, and work well. In the case there is trouble, Nick will support you properly. The software is always getting better, with several firmware updates along the way.

    Been using it for rehab and to stay in shape even though I can’t load up as I used to while younger. Vital for my workouts.
  • Problem fixed, no longer a reason to complain.

    I like the product, it does what it needs to do. Bit buggy to use but otherwise fine. Just hoping there will not be any more issues with the servers. They respond very fast to emails, so thats cool.

  • Terrible app

    2nd day using and app will not let me log on. This is pretty hard to believe for the price of the cuffs.

  • Works fine, but servers being down is ridiculous.

    Hoping it’s some kind of update, but if the servers are going to be down frequently I see no reason as to why you would purchase this product.

  • Won’t even calibrate / inflate / nothing

    One works sometimes and the other one doesn’t even ever calibrate. Save your money and buy a similar product from a different brand

  • Will the disconnect issues ever be fixed?

    Ive really enjoyed the comfort and design improvements from the 3.0 model. The app isn't perfect by any means and can be frustrating to click through, normally taking longer to start exercise then the 3.0 version, even with saved client exercise data.

    The most glaring issue with this product are the frequent disconnects. Losing connection during exercise is not only frustrating, but a safety concern. The only way to stop exercise once bluetooth connection is lost is the emergency stop, which erases all workout history and requires you to restart the process from the beginning. Ive rarely had a full workout without running into these issues.

    The simplicity of the 3.0 model makes me regret ever upgrading to this 4.0 model. Until these issues are fixed, the product isn’t worth the high price

  • Fixed the Bluetooth issue

    Cuffs work great after the updates. Comfortable and easy user interface.

  • Incredible tool to have at home!

    I found out about the SmartCuffs from the lovely Shante @themovementmaestro and quickly knew I needed this addition to my home gym. I used a different BFR tool at physical therapy post knee and hip surgeries and loved it, so I knew having this at my fingertips for daily/weekly use would really benefit my rehab process and strength building phases. This tool is very versatile and top quality! This tool is for you if you are wanting help with rehab post surgery/injury or have no injuries & are just wanting to build muscle, strength, or endurance!
  • Frequent disconnects make this product unusable, highly dissapointed

    I purchased two pairs of SmartCuffs after using BFR cuffs working with my physical therapist, which really has been helping me recover from chronic injuries. After a 6 week lead time and $600 later I was excited to finally get to try them at home. Only to be MASSIVELY disappointed that these time and time again disconnect from BlueTooth every 1 minute (yes the devices are charged, and yes I’m within Bluetooth range), making them completely useless. After each disconnect you need to redo the entire calibration procedure, so you spend twice as much time navigating menus as you do working out. The product otherwise seems great, but shame on whatever quality assurance engineer or manager pushed this through. An incredibly frustrating experience.

  • Awful Battery

    This app is absolutely terrible and it is now required to use the 4.0 cuffs. Can never get the cuffs to stay connected and when I do, the battery is drained to zero before I even finish the workout. Customer service is non-existent.
