  • Great game, Here’s a few ideas!!

Honestly it has been so fun playing this game and i have a coach who has switched teams every season and has been every team in the game, the freshman admissions is pretty cool and all especially with the scholarship fund with the donations and stuff, but i would really really recommend adding something like the “transfer portal” to allow players to be given scholarships mid season, i also think it would be cool to have stats for non roster players, and the option for them to have scholarships given to them. Another idea would be making the amount of players on your roster a little higher especially because you should be able to recruit a lot of freshman and it would work better especially for a college based game. Also, and i don’t know if this would be possible, but at least getting some jerseys into the game, for example BYU aka “Provo” is like bright purple and it’s a real pain having to go through and change them all. But overall a great game and i hope you see this and appreciate the ideas!!!

  • You have cricket, but all you need to do is get a baseball game

You have a great company with great games except some in the past, but I’m not here to say about that but can you please add baseball for all the baseball knots and have it defense and offense because you know baseball fans will be mad about that and also if your other games can you add offense and defense, so people who are been complaining for years about that can finally rest assured that they can play a full inning game for an insane experience hopefully in two years because you made that college football game while you were in you’re dying prime and got more people to download it and also you’re probably gonna be competing against college football 25 which is being hyped up for the best EA sports game ever since college football 2014 so you have to get a good hype up show sports who is the boss make everyone proud and doing in a few .years or a month six months will be waiting for you.

  • What’s with the hashes

This is a great game overall and I have loved it for the time it’s been out and have been playing it like crazy, but recently the new update was released and everything is great except the wider hashes. Whenever I run a play I could get downed in the middle of the field but it will still put me on one of the hashes. Also multiple of the routes are messed up specially the ones with the TE. He’ll end up running across the whole entire defensive line just to get put in the dirt before he could even run his route. The way there’s so much space on the opposite side of where you are on the hashes completely throws me off. Sometimes my wide receiver will just streak wide open because of the weird placement of the ball. Don’t get me wrong I love a free touchdown but now it’s just annoying. Also the runs are all over the place. What looks like a inside run ends going outside and it messes me up. Overall the wide hashes just mess with my mind and make the hard for me to play. I want to play the game but these hashes just get on my nerves over and over again. I really hope a developer sees this and responds. PLEASE FIX THIS

  • A top alternative to College Football

Probably one of the best football games I’ve played. A free College Football game that lets me play out as my fav team and build them into a dynasty? Say less! It’s got everything Retro Bowl has but with a college twist. Player GPAs, Scholarships, you name it. I like the challenge of only having players for only 4 years. It makes each roster you have fresh. The gameplay is seamless and the ranking system is pretty cool, too. Not only do they have all 133 FBS teams (well, fictionalized counterparts), but also all 128 FCS teams as well (still fictionalized). The fact that they did what EA wouldn’t even do with their past CFB games is just amazing. But I will talk about the flaws. You can’t realign conferences to your liking. Want to move Winston S. (Wake Forest) to the Sun Sash (Sun Belt) for being a bottomfeeder? Too bad! Think your Midwest (MAC) dynasty team should be in the Large X (B1G)? Nope! There’s also no transfer portal, so that’s a bummer. That would really add some spice to the game. Also, no redshirting. Some would say the jerseys and teams aren’t exactly the same as the real CFB teams, but, c’mon, unlimited is ¢99 so get that. Also there is no field editor, so I CAN’T MAKE MY BOISE STATE FIELD BLUE. I know, bummer. But besides all that, it’s probably the best CFB game to come out in a while and it should definitely be on everyone’s mobile device. You don’t even have to be a CFB fan to get into RBC.

  • Fun

Pretty fun and I like the game but it’s pretty annoying that I’ll dominate a game and still have to criticize a player for literally no reason. Other than that it’s fun and unique but it doesn’t make any sense that I’ll have a perfect game and yet the DL apparently didn’t do well so either pay up or make him mad. That’s a weird mechanic that I have no control over but I like the draft system and how it’s very limited with cash and options especially after you pick the first one. That makes it seem more real and challenging. I also think it’s slightly annoying that my players will sometimes fumble off of the kick off when I don’t control that either, it seems a little cheap and it only happens in very close games. That doesn’t have any part in my rating I like the challenge even though it is annoying. Replay system is a cool addition and it would be cool to add celebrations in cup games or bowls. Only thing I would like to add would be a better system of choosing plays. I understand that is a lot for a simplistic game and I’ll be clear that I do like the play system as it is.

  • Needs improvement

This game is such an amazing way to pass time. In my opinion, it’s better than the original retro bowl and I love the variety in teams, players, and so forth. However, I have some bones to pick. Primarily, it gets boring. Dynamic is simply too easy. I played on dynamic for at least 10 seasons and it was too easy to put up 40 to 60 points every game, or sometimes more. Additionally, hard difficulty feels too easy and impossible is impossible, which is how it should be. I want to play and not know I’m going to win every time due to an incapable opposing defense. I feel like all that needs to be done is to make the opposing defensive players a little smarter, so no matter what their skill is on whatever difficulty, the decisions they make are more realistic despite varying skill and athketiscn on different difficulties. When I play dynamic, it should make “tough” games tough. I shouldn’t be able to pass the ball for an entire game and guarantee an easy win. Make the players a little smarter and give it a little bit of the unpredictability of the real thing. Then you’ll have yourself a winner.

  • Good could be great

After playing this one for a couple months now (8th season) I do like the challenge of this one over retro bowl. My biggest complaint is the gpa system and the fact that you have to use coaching credits to help those players. I think a better system would be a points system specifically for that. Which would free up coaching credits for other things. Like I said before I’ve played 8 seasons so far and haven’t been able to expand the scholarship fund yet. Which makes it feel almost pay to win driven (which I would understand because the game doesn’t have adds which is great). All in all they both are fun games but I do like this one better.

A cool idea if you are interested: a game where you create a player and you follow that player all the way through from high school all the way up through to the nfl. It could even be a mode for different games. Like retro high school, college, and nfl. Personally I think this would be awesome.

  • Problems and wishlist

First of all, I play this game more often than OG Retro Bowl, but it does have something’s I don’t quite like. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game, but I have a few things I don’t like and a few things I think could be added to the game.

Unlike the original game, you can’t pick any college at the start, which is not very cool. I wish I could start out as a different team than say Wyoming. Another problem I have with the game is after I’ve won 4 major national championships in a row, all undefeated by the way, all in Wyoming, I didn’t get any offers from any “good” schools, just the same old bottom of the barrel schools each year.

I wish they would add conference realignment, not random, but at the end of the season I should be able to manually realign the conferences. I think this would be so cool. I also wish they could make funding easier, it’s difficult to build a higher quality teams with the current system. Also a transfer portal feature would be amazing. Ability to add 12 team playoff? PLEASE!!!

  • Great but the potential for more is out there.

I loved retro bowl. So when this came out, naturally, I loved this game too. It added so much to what was an already entertaining and fun game. But a thought recently hit me. Notice on how you can view where players are from when you click on the roster. It gave me an idea that, for those who payed for the add-on, we could customize what town, city, or maybe even country the players are from. It may seem a little far fetched until you realize that you can customize where each bowl in the game are is located. I love the game, it’s great to customize each and every character and give them their own little story. But this small detail can so much to the players and give them a personality of their own. Plus it could increase the number of people who’d buy the add-on so that they could also create their own players themselves. It’s just a thought. I’d like to hope this could get added someday. Otherwise, the game is still great to play. 7.5/10.

  • Almost Perfect

I loved playing retro bowl and I personally bought the dlc so I could customize all the pro teams into colleges and made my college back in the day. When I saw that this game came out, I was very excited, and I was even more excited when I realized my school was in there: Virginia Military Institute.
I was amazed by the amount of detail that went into this, it refers to the athletes as cadets while you play as VMI and it even rather than saying juniors or seniors it says 2nd class and 1st class cadets. That’s going above and beyond and I didn’t expect to see that level of detail. HOWEVER, you get the tiny details right but miss out on some very large things. For instant; the school is listed as Virginia Military Academy instead of Institute, and the shorter version provided is VAM instead of VMI. Also our arch enemy in football, The Citadel, isn’t in there (which is funny but I’m sad we can’t play them) I’ll just say that if the name gets fixed I’d come back and give 5 stars instead of 4, it’s a really fun game.
