Done with Skullcandy a total nightmare

How do I give it zero stars? App tells me that my Bluetooth is off, even though they’re connected to the phone and working. Can’t access the app past the first page

App doesn’t work

Ive had my crusher anc 2s for about 6 months now, and still have not been able to use the app. Sits there and saying searching and for whatever reason it can’t find them, I’ve tried unpairing, repairing, deleting the app, hard resetting my headphones and nothing. I had evos and they worked flawlessly. I can’t even enjoy half of the features that justified me getting the anc 2s. I even emailed the developers like they tell you to and they just repeat the same steps they say online, which don’t help at all. Please release an update or something to fix this because it’s ridiculous.

Really enjoying it

This is the first over the ear headphones I’ve owned. So I understand where people are coming from if they’ve owned others but for a first time user I’m really enjoying these I picked them because of the voice control option and it’s so handy I use it all the time. Running with my dog, need an extra beat, hands are pumping I don’t want to interrupt I use the voice control. Keep up the good work.

It could be worst, I just don’t know how

I’m using a product that tells me - on the box and in the instructions - to download this app. When I go online to get support for the product I am told to download this app.

Download this app, waste an hour turning stuff off, back on, removing and then downloading and then removing and then downloading, turning settings off and on and off and on and OMG who wrote this piece of junk?

If the app doesn’t connect to the earbuds I am currently listening to music playing from my phone less than 2 feet away (so CLEARLY the earbuds connect, my brand new iphone works, my bluetooth is on, my earbuds are charged) and yet I just get a loading screen and every 10 mins or so I get “Try Again” and “did you try turning it off, turning it back on.

Yeah. Wow. I did thanks. I can’t fix the issue with the earbuds (which is that the stock settings are TERRIBLE and I need to adjust them) without a firmware update that I can only get if I download this app and sync my earbuds? Interesting. Too bad the software is such garbage there is no menu, no way to get off this loading screen, literally no manual way to go through and pick the device I am already connected to. And no, I didn’t play music while trying to use the app. To the point - phone works, bluetooth works, app is trash, support from Skull is trash. 1 is too many stars.

Awesome app but here are some tips

If your app is having a hard time connecting or loading just disconnect your headphones but leave the app open and then reconnect them and the app will work
But first step don’t turn on headphones yet, first let the app load first then turn headphones on for immediate connection and voice control will be on!

Stressfully

If I didn’t connect the app some functions didn’t work It is stressful that every time I connect the headphones it asks me to connect the app, and if I am listening to something it pauses because of the notification, and it also stresses me out that if my data fails and I don't have Wi-Fi, it cannot connect to the app, which makes it difficult for me to access the functions.

Why is pairing the headphones so hard?

Skull Candy, what happened?

I've used this brand for over 10 years, you used to be the be all end all of earbuds, now you scam people to pay exorbitant amounts of money for barely functional wireless earbuds. What you have become is embarrassing because clearly profit is the only thing that matters to you. I've paid for not only your $60 push active earbuds, but also two pairs of your push ANC buds at $100 each and both have terrible functionality with your app which is needed to program them. Almost every other day I have to unlink and relink them and reprogram the button settings. It has been over a year since I've reported these issues and I don't understand why this isn't a priority with your team to solve.
