Great app but there’s some annoying things
I’ve had this app for a while now and love it but recently me and my friend decided to test how often it actually updates and found that sometime it doesn’t show the most recent listened (we gave it a while to update in the app and nothing changed) to song which I think is kinda the whole purpose of this app which is a bit annoying but I get things can’t always be automatic though other then that no complaints :)Show lessrandom_named_ail

I came across this app on Reddit. Like with most apps I download, I didn't bother reading the terms and conditions. The app only had 9 ratings and 1 written review on the App Store, and it immediately asked me to "Login to Spotify" once I opened it. This made me uncomfortable as I didn't fully trust the developer. I wasn't happy with the fact that the app used a modified version of the Spotify logo and requested my personal login details to view my friends' listening activity. Even if the developer doesn't store login details, I believe there should be a system in place to ensure that our details remain private and secure, or that third-party apps only have limited access to our accounts based on specific permissions from Spotify.Show lessJimboy Yelds

1. I never use the Spotify logo anywhere 2. the code is OPEN SOURCE. THE GITHUB LINK IS VISIBLE 😀😀 Please do some research before ruining my app’s rating 3. There is no way for me to use Spotify’s OAuth login system to get Friend Activity details. This is the only way. You could compile my app from source and cryptographically verify it is the same as the App Store release. What will I do looking at your friends’ listening activity anyway? I am a college student I don’t have time for this. Thanks for the review, hope you are able to invest your future days into more worthwhile ventures than complaining on an app’s review page before doing the necessary research. The app doesn't show everybody i follow even with them following me back, and with them having listening activity turned on. How do you work around thisPillow_Law

I'm so sorry. This is something I've discovered recently too. The friend activity data from Spotify's servers don't include friends listening to private playlists (although it is visible on the Spotify desktop app). I have no way to work around Spotify's arbitrary limitation :( I guess people aren't always listening to private playlists so it's not a problem for all the time. I will make sure to update if I find any fix!Love the widgets
