A M A Z I N G ! ! !

Took me a while to decide to pay the amount asked for this app, but after purchasing I can say that am very happy with this iOS version of the instrument

The sound engine provides incredibly realistic pianos - and they are sampled superbly across the whole range of keys on a full size piano keyboard. Each piano has its own set of samples, and the sound quality is immaculate (all are extremely good)

The app allows you to download as many of the pianos you’d like on your iPad - so remains flexible according to your memory capacity. There is a good selection of pianos and EPs (see creators website for full list) - and are essentially a subset of, and exactly the same as, a number of pianos taken from their VST version

In addition, the App allows for a number of variations for each piano - expanding the horizons for its use significantly

If you are looking for an excellent piano - or indeed selection of pianos - definitely give this app a go. It is expensive for an app - but as a primary set of piano ’sounds’… it is truly excellent!

Close to the best

I agree with one of the former posts, mostly. This app loads wicked fast, samples load wicked fast, and is stable. VB3M is incredible, as are several of the developers other projects.

If you don’t have add-on’s for Korg module, this one will probably keep you from them for awhile.

Main piano is really quite good. CP70 is great. Clavinets are more than useable, and up there with the iOS standard on Module’s IAP. The Rhodes are fine, but not ground breaking. Neo-Soul will give more character.

Main complaint was with the original Yamaha C5 sample set. It’s just… too bright. Painfully bright with harsh overtones and room resonances that you can’t get out. The controls are limited for all pianos but the main full Steinway. I don’t hear it in the demos, so I think it’s something to do with the sampleset that was paired down for iOS.

BUT YOU SUPPORTED THE APP!

The newest Yamaha sample set is SIGNIFICANTLY more useable. Sounds like a CFX!

What I’d like to see for iPad:
-The larger upright sampleset from the desktop version. It already exists and sounds great. The samples for the iPad… meh… like ROMPLER from 2010. Give us better. You already have it!
-Half-damper? Even if simulated.
-Release velocity
-Release samples
-Fix the wurly. Real wurlies are deep sounding. Not thin. The AMP is what we’d use to thin it out.
-Deeper Clavinet multisamples. Careful with how you sample, though, to keep everything in phase. A multi sampled clav is hard to come by, even on desktop.
-Explanation for why the numbers on the edit knobs go so high? 500? Why?

Love it, with a few requests.

This is a great app and I’m so glad this team is starting to make more iOS instruments. VB3M is hands down the best organ app and beats out even the Nord sounds in my opinion.

The only thing that this app disappointed me on was the wurli sounds. It’s too barky and can’t be used for dynamic playing. Neo Soul Keys 2 has this app beat in that department. PLEASE make an expansion or new app with a dynamic wurli 200A like Keyscape or Vreeds. iOS still needs a great wurli app.

The Clav and CP70 are joining my live rig. They are fantastic.

The upright and grands are also fantastic although I rarely use those sounds. Rhodes was top notch too, but not better than Vtines in my opinion, although probably the second best. The low end beats vtines as vtines is too barky. So a split point between apps would work great.

The effects are awesome. This is the first app with touch wah that I have found and it’s so good! I loved all the other effects too especially the amps and phaser. Another request: make a separate app so we can use these effects with our other iOS instruments, that would be killer.

I can also say the auv3 seems very reliable during my testing with AUM. I would highly recommend this app. Thanks team and can’t wait for more!

Sounds Great but…

This program is rife with errors. The program/patch change is erroneous and it errors on opening which results in needing to completely uninstall, reinstall all of the samples and try again. This sounds great but needs work. Let me know when it is updated. At this point, it is not ready for live use.
