Schengen Simple - Yes, it really is.
We have been cruising in our sailing vessel around Europe off and on since June 2019. Before using Schengen Simple we did our best to manually keep precise and accurate tabs on when we had to leave the Schengen Area or when it would be legal to re-enter it.
Since we started using the app back in September 2023, the task is not only far easier, we also never worry now about the accuracy of the calculations.
The app is straightforward immediately after downloading, and the user interface is quite intuitive. I will add, though, that there’s a slight learning curve to mastering how to retroactively enter entry and exit dates.
We highly recommend this app for anyone that is or has plans to come and go from Europe without a visa and is limited to staying just 90 days every 180 days.Show less@FirstSight
Wonderfully clear and accurate
The app is easy to use with the information clearly displayed. Unlike other apps future holidays can be input so that you know exactly how many remaining days you have at any given time. If required, additional help from the developer is prompt and helpful.wrigglerwiggler
Superb App and assistance
I have used this app for over a year now and never had any issues! It is so easy to use and due to my having to travel to the zone so often it has kept me totally worry free about my dates allowed! I had one slight issue which I believe I created when I could not find the app or my information and had to contact the help section! I had an email straight back from George who was absolutely excellent in resolving my problem! I would recommend this app to anyone who has to travel backwards and forwards to the Schengen Zone! Understanding the rules
I thought I new the new brexit rule only allowed 90 days in 180 days . So I thought if I go for 30 days come home for 30days I am ok for 90 days again.. I emailed my understanding and got an email back within a couple of hours explaining in detail Schengen rules.
I must be honest I had to look up what the Schengen ment .
I was not counting back 180 days so after returning for 30days I had still gone away 30 days in my last 180 days.
This app is excellent for me because I go several trips a year to France Germany ( Schengen region)etc so all I do is enter all my trips last years and further trips and the app tells you what you have left of your allowance.
It’s far better than cutting a trip short or worse facing being banned/fined or both.
£7.99 p yr is well worth it. If you have any questions just contact them.
This app now allows me to plan in advance so I know to maybe cut a hols short so I can go in the future if that make sense.

Great app
This app has taken the pressure off me after other checks were telling me my future trips would be over my allowance
And I had two further trips planned.
I downloaded Schengen simple put in previous dates back to 2019 and two future trips within minutes the pressure was off I had 71 days left thank you.

Having traveled to various European countries within the last 12 months, I was totally confused as to how many days I had left. As I was planning a further trip later this year I needed a definitive and accurate summary. Within 15 minutes of entering my previous days out of the country and my upcoming trip, I had everything in detail on the app.

I would like to thank you all at Schengen simple, for your prompt and extremely helpful explanation of the whole Schengen 90 day and 180 problems I’ve been having.
As my wife has an Irish passport, was even given a link to help, nothing was too much trouble.
I have a couple of other Schengen apps, which don’t come close to Schengen simple, really “simple” to use, and have taken away the fear of going over my stay.

Since we are only able to currently stay in Italy on a 90 day visa this app has made life very simple to keep track of when we can and can’t be in Italy / the EU.simonstruts

Anyone traveling in the Schengen area would benefit from this app. I make frequent trips through Germany, Austria, Hungarian with long stays in Romania. I’ve experienced significant levels of misinformation in dealing with border authorities, especially in Romania. This app works correctly and helps you avoid misunderstandings. More than that what you cannot see by looking at the app is that the people behind it work very hard to make sure that they are helpful in difficult situations. I was recently given bad information via Romanian officials regarding the 90 and 180 day requirement. This is because Romania only entered into the Schengen treaty on March 31 and many officials do not actually know how it works. I emailed the help department of the Schengen Simple App. They responded immediately with the correct legislation. They also contacted the Romanian embassy to verify that what they were telling me is correct. As you can imagine this was worth far more than eight elders a year to me.
