I am a US citizens that purchased my retirement home in France and have been going back and forth to do renovations. I was not sure what the 90/180 rule restrictios were. It can be all very confusing as well as the serious consequences if you "overstay"
I initially thought is was per calendar year...and thanks to this App...I could have violated my chances of re-entering!
I wrote to this App for help since It was a little confusing when initially starting the process of entering the information when I was not sure of my travel date allowance and whether I did everything correctly. I received a personal reply immediately with help and instructions. In addition George personally helped me re-work the dates and saved me by making me realize I would have overstayed my days for my next upcoming trip. It will definely be a handy App for future qualifying "safe travel dates". Thank you George!

George Cremer, Schengen SimpleI had some concerns with functionally on an another Shengen app that I had been using over the past 2 years. On occasions I did not understand the result of an entry, I found it difficult to believe it and understand why. So my confidence started to wane. So I started to investigate a number of other apps and found that I dumped them within minutes. Then I came across “SchengenSimple”. Firstly it shows two calendars, the normal in that it displays when you “can” stay and indicates very prominently when you can’t or when you MUST exit. Secondly a calendar that is accessed by clicking on an icon of a border/ passport guard, “neat”. This shows in calendar form exactly how many days you have stayed and when. I am not saying the authorities would accept it but it would be certainly worth showing it to display your movements and compare your data in a dispute. There is also an easy to read list of your stays. What I found really useful compared to the other app was the warnings and the explanations of why you were or about to overstay. We try to plan ahead all our stays and get as much out of our allowance as possible, so if you like to adjust the various stays to get the maximum days this is brilliant.
This app is really good at displaying the reasoning.

Thank you for being a part of the Schengen Simple community!The work is done for you no more spread sheets just enter your previous dates in the EU in past 180 days and your planned dates away and the amazing algorithm will work out how many days you have left it will find and work out if any of your previous dates have reached a position that days can be subtracted from the calculation.
Take the worry away let the app do the work.
I like the Passport view where all of your trips are neatly summarised so in the event of an immigration officer looking for passport stamps the app can be shown if required so the dates of the entry/exit can be seen making it easier for the officer to find in Passport.
Excellent for planning will show if a trip is possible or not giving the opportunity to revise dates if not.
All for £7.99 worth every penny .

It retains our historical travel so we don’t have to enter it every time we use a Schengen calculator. It also shows the number of days we have left at different times which is critical to planning trips. It’s simple to use and it works.

As a US citizen with a home in the States and one in Europe, planning trips to Europe without overstaying the 90 Day Visa rule got a lot simpler with the Shengen Simple app.
As well as being eaiser to plan, the app helps to visualize and summarize time spent at the second home.
It is great that past, present and future trips are retained in the app for easy reference and doing "what if" scenarios when a supper good airfare across the pond becomes available.

As you mentioned, the ability to add multiple accounts is on our list of features to implement. In terms of data security, a big reason for not having login details is your data is stored anonymously and thus kept safe. However, we will be adding the ability to create an account optionally in the future, which will enable you to back up your Schengen Simple data. At the moment, your data is stored on your iCloud, so if you switch devices, your data is kept in sync when using the same AppleID.
