  • Cute platypus, beautiful art, great gameplay

    I love this game.
  • Not cool game devs

Very fun game, reminds me of a cross between Zelda and Metroid with elements of animal crossing. BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY $30 TO UNLOCK THE FULL GAME. Free at the start but priced to unlock the game, scummy way to pay wall a fun game

Hello. "Ogu and the Secret Forest" is currently being sold on Steam (PC) at the same price. Over 30,000 players have already purchased the Steam package, and the average playtime is over 10 hours. The game offers more than 15 hours of gameplay to reach the normal ending, and over 30 hours to complete the final ending. We understand that refunds can be relatively difficult, so we've chosen this sales approach to allow more players to experience the game first. We hope you enjoy your adventure!
  • Too expensive

The game is cool, I love it. But it costs too much. 5 dollars for one place!!!

  • One of the best games I've ever played

When I first got the game I wasn't sure if I would like it but as I got further into the game I loved it. It reminds me a lot of the Zelda games were you can cut the grass and complete quests given by Npc's. The story is great, the characters are fun, and the graphics are amazing. One thing that I wish it had was armor I feel like that it be fun to search for armor and gain buffs from it. Overall it’s a great game and I hope you continue to make it better and and stuff. Sorry this was so long.

Edit: when I first got the game it didn’t cost money I wish it would go back to being free I know you have to make money but I don’t like having to spend money to continue in a game
I’m not trying to be annoying I just thought I would say something. I would give a 5 star review but because of the fact I have to pay to continue to play when I originally was playing for free I’m going to give a 4 star review I’m sorry 😞

  • If you love old-school Pokemon and Turnip Boy Commits T*x Evasion, you’ll love this game

I learned about this game in an Apple Article, and I’m so glad I downloaded it. You play as a baby platypus named Ogu who follows a bird and gets transported into a different world, where he (though Ogu’s gender is ambiguous) is the Pure One who will unite the heart of the land. The graphics are adorable, and by interacting with NPCs, you can see the amount of care that went into the game.
What I really love about this game is its open-world environment. While the main story is interesting, Baby Ogu is free to explore the world at his own pace and try new hobbies like fishing, bug catching, and even cooking. There are tons of side quests and high rewards for completing them, which make it feel like a real adventure and not just a single-story plotline.
The world Baby Ogu is transported into consists of seven islands. The first island, which Baby Ogu lands in, is completely free to play and includes 2-3 hours of gameplay (and this is from someone who hasn’t even finished all the side quests yet). Access to the other six islands can either be purchased separately as you come across each island, or in bulk. While at first I thought each of the islands were a little pricey, having played through the first island I can see why they’re priced how they are. The only, very minor detail that I could find to complain about is that because the game is so new (when I downloaded, its Official Release was 12 hours ago), the graphics will sometimes get stuck or you can see thin black lines in the landscape that are clearly bugs. These issues are few and far between, and didn’t impact my playing experience at all. I can’t wait to keep exploring this wonderful game, and I wish the developers all the best in future releases!
  • Amazing !!!

I’ve only been playing this game for a short time but i love it so much. The characters are adorable, The story line is interesting and fun to play, and theres alot of exploring and puzzles to do.

I have encountered a few slight problems which include but are not limited to: The signs are unresponsive. I cannot read the road signs or the construction signs so i have no idea what’s happening sometimes. There is a glitch with the running mechanism where the character will run the opposite direction you’re trying to go. Last but not least, while playing the game sometimes it will crash and freeze for a minimum of 30-40 seconds and then resume gameplay again.

Amazing game though and i cant wait to see whats next.
  • Easy mode really helps to get on

If you miss Zelda vibes but want sth new and want a chill stuff Ogu is a good option
  • I want to love it so bad

I got so into the game then found out it’s $24.99(on sale) for the full version.

  • Great game, does a bad job telling you that it’s just a demo

There were no indicators that to unlock all the other islands you needed 30 usd. 5.49 per island is not worth and paying 30 was definitely not what I wanted to do. Really charming game otherwise, just didn’t make it clear it was a demo and I needed to pay to continue.
