I was doing a level and out of nowhere an ad comes up and it literally ruined my entire game but other than that the game is mediocre just like real Tetris

Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the game play however, there is an option to get rid of ads permanently. Since it's more like Tetris, the current capabilities in the game are what it is supposed to have. Sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience. Unfortunately, that's the only way for a developer to earn from a free app. If you like the gameplay though, you can pay to remove ads too :)When I try to play it and press “start”, the game just finishes up by itself and I can’t even play.
I’m on level 1 and the block is piled up and there’s no way for me to even play. Then it takes me to ad for 5 seconds again and again and again.

Whoa, this shouldn't be happening. My goal is to make the experience as smooth and bug free as possible. I just checked and tried to reproduce the issue but couldn't. Did you try pressing the reset button? You can perhaps try reinstalling the app or share with me the steps you followed to get to this issue and I'll look into it on priorityThis could’ve been excellent if it was full screen, had settings you can adjust, and didn’t have commercials popping out of no place on it. So mediocre it’s offensive. This might be perfect laziness.

I hear you. I have released a new version with an option to get rid of ads permanently and thank you for being blunt. To provide full screen functionality, I'll have to find a suitable place for controls so they're as easily accessible as they are now. I'll see what I can do.

Update: The app has been updated to get rid of the review functionality altogether. Keep enjoying the game :)Very cute nostalgic game but there is a problem with the upcoming blocks. The “next” column appears in 3 upcoming blocks but it keeps changing and sends down the wrong one. Will wait for an update! :)
Update: Ah I see it now… I thought the top cube was supposed to be the next one not the bottom.

Thank you for your kind feedback! I see that you faced an issue with the next blocks column. Let me clarify that for you.
When blocks actually appear on screen, they may/may not have the same orientation as they do in the "next" column. They're present just for your reference which is why you might've felt that there is a mismatch between the two. Rest assured, the blocks that appear on the board are same as in the "next" column. You can use rotate button to verify the same.
When the current block has reached bottom, the top blocks in the "next" column shift one step down and the one on the bottom starts falling on the screen. Then there is a new next block that appears on the top in "next" column.
Hope it's somewhat clear now. If you face any more issues, feel free to let me know :)

Very sad to hear you didn't like it but thank you for your honest feedback. The game is actually made for indefinite play until you can't handle the speed anymore. The idea of small blocks comes from the classic brick game which too had tiny blocks however, I'll keep this in mind and make the blocks bigger in the next release.
