It’s a Great App, If you pay for it.

The only thing that makes me mad is they make you go through a lengthy process of importing photos, THEN they tell you that you must upgrade to premium to see your photos 🤦‍♂️

On top of that, it doesn’t say
*INCLUDES IN APP PURCHASES* @devs put that on the apps page and 99% of people will be less annoyed, and you’ll either get minimal downloads, or, A LOT, and A LOT of 5 star reviews

Great functionality, easy to use, and keeps photos private. Recommend for anyone who cares about privacy

Too expensive

If you want to access your photo, you’ll have to pay a subscription that comes around 2.50$ a month to be able to store your pictures on your phone or on iCloud (that you also need to pay for). It’s way cheaper to use your iPhone photo app hide’s feature

Hi, we’re sorry that you didn’t find enough value in the app! However, you should know that the “photo hide” feature on the photos app does not add extra encryption to the photo, only hides it inside the photos app. Encamera allows you to store media where you want, either in iCloud or on your phone. Perfect for what I was looking for. An iPadOS version would be nice though too :)

Looks pretty good but where did the photos go?

Tried the app by creating an album and import some photos. It was processing…. But then nothing. No photos anywhere. After killing the app and starting it again it just says the album is locked. Can’t see any photos. Not sure what this is all about but did not work for me.

Can’t get past Permissions step

I inadvertently declined microphone access, but after correcting in Settings it won’t proceed past that step. Deleting and reinstalling didn’t help. Edit: Confusing UI but basically can go back to the beginning to get out of the new user workflow.

Actually encrypted and transparent

This app allows me to store my personal photos right to my iCloud Drive or locally on my phone. I love how there’s no weird 3rd party cloud solution and that I can manage where my data goes. It’s the only one I’ve found that’s doing this and in a transparent way.

Thanks for making such a privacy, secure camera!

I was really looking for something that had true local encryption, and without tracking. This app is great for that. I can store everything securely on my phone now, and out of my camera roll 🥳
