This application is a bit confusing and seems to be a lot less intuitive than the previous. there’s no quick links on the left to go to order status or accounts, etc. when you preview your history, it seems all jumbled together. I do appreciate that the Home Screen shows the total value of your account(with cents) and shows a more detailed view of your account over time. Other than that, it seems a bit too busy. I appreciate having more information but an option to remove. Where is my book cost and where is my starting position value? Instead, you’ve given me my daily gain? Who cares. Now I’m forced to login online to get this info. Additionally, they should make your position sizes and other relevant information more obvious and not jumbled in with everything else.Show lessTcoll150

Just before they updated the app I put a request/suggestion in to have the ability to transfer between cash accounts and tsfas, the request went unheard. Have inquired about it many times since and it goes on deaf ears.Nickkreutz

If the app developers set out to p**s off this long term Qtrade client, they have done a bang-up job! Version 1.0 had clear and easy sidebar navigation, alphabetical portfolio listings and a passable trading platform, this app has none of that. As pointed out in other reviews, there is no discernible pattern to the portfolio listings, no biometric trading password or ability to modify a trade before submitting, and no real time data. This app is slightly better than the old version in the cost base display, but it is useless for simple trades since it has a 15 minute delay in the price quotes and bid/ask. The old version had at least one level of current bid/ask and the most of the portfolio quotes were closer to real time than the new version. I’ll no doubt be making fewer trades since I am now forced to log in to the website on my computer, a more time consuming procedure.Show lessjoepike1

I don’t understand how Qtrade can’t create an application platform that is similar to the online portal. Version 1 of the app is bad, but this is garbage. Not user friendly. Large amounts of wasted space from unnecessarily large text, and lacking important features and information that you can get on the online portal. I hope Qtrade goes back to the drawing board and comes out with something new.Show less2788964357z

I used to do most activities via web version. Thought to give app a try since it’s a “new and updated 2.0” version. So far pros are app looks clean+doesn’t lag. But the features are very limited. For example I can’t do fund transfers between cash/margin/usd/cad accounts (can only to/from bank). App also doesn’t have a page to view in progress transfers.
I’ve yet to try the core trading functionalities, but so far I’m stuck at fund moving step so I’m sticking to web version for now.Show lessChao_W

Previous version had Biometric entry of the trading password. 2.0 you have to enter it manually. When you initiate a trade before submitting it used to have a modify option to change your trade request currently only have cancel or submit. Cancelling you have to start all over. You advertised the 2.0 version as new and improved. It’s new but it’s not improved.
It requires so much more input to place a trade.
Currently testing Questrade so far so good it even has a interface to TradingView to initiate a trade. Plus lower commissions.Show lessC8TurboBeaver

I am liking the new upgrade of this app.
Enjoy how it consolidates your stocks and keeps track of your average book price.
It is easy to initiate a trade and see how things are progressing.
Only thing I would love to see is it tracking dividend payments. The net amount the stock has paid to you since purchase.Show lessAlanPNG

I like that it supports options and has the option chain. Makes it really nice and easy. I wish it would allow you to roll options in one trade instead of having to do two separate trades (2x the commission) but it’s pretty good so far.kdhfjdj
