They tried
This device and the software that goes with it are not ready for regular use. If you get joy with an app and don’t mind spending more time dealing with a faulty device and unintuitive app, go for it. But a plastic tray and air freshener would be a better bet.
Needs lots of work
Constantly having to change the weight units on it, and there’s no setting to see how much is in the trash bin?? Lots of steps behind Litter Robot unfortunately.
Still optimistic
I’ve been using the app for about a week now and I’m consistently having the same issues, when I go into my settings and change litter type or weight scale. After about five minutes, it reverts back to its original settings.
I get too many notifications about the litter bag being full, I was at work for 8 1/2 hours and had about 40 notifications, telling me to empty the litter bag.
It’s a nice concept but the app at least for me still has a lot of bugs, mind you the app has only been available for a month or two.
