Description of Hāpai te Hauora

Tuku Iho is a bi-lingual resource for whānau hapū, māmā hapū and māmā hou that shares intergenerational knowledge in maternal and child wellbeing.   This resource is framed from a te ao Māori perspective and linked to mātauranga Māori, the sets of knowledge that were given to us from our ancestors. The development of Tuku Iho was led by the National SUDI Prevention Coordination Service at Hāpai Te Hauora Māori Public Health. Partners are Māori film and creative arts centre the  Māoriland Charitable Trust; cultural services agency Kiwa Digital; and the Hira Programme in Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand which focuses on enabling digital technologies to make health care more accessible and equitable.   Tuku Iho was launched by Hon Ayesha Verrall, Minister for Research, Science and Innovation and Associate Minister of Health at a community event in Ōtaki, New Zealand in August 2022.     FEATURES  Narration in te reo Māori and English Swipe to read or Tap to hear key words to learn  pronunciation  Video interviews  Accessible  bi-lingual language and navigation     This app was published by world leading cultural services agency Kiwa Digital.    NEED HELP?  Contact us: support@kiwadigital.com
