  • Very good!

I’m a long time user of the desktop app, which is great. I’m so excited they brought it to iOS! The UI is a bit difficult to navigate on a phone, but that’s to be expected without a complete redesign. The ability to save notes played to a MIDI file doesn’t seem to work. Perhaps that only works with an attached keyboard though. I haven’t gotten the opportunity to try that yet. But the sound and configurability features are all there.

  • Requires an ADDITIONAL license slot

I have Pianoteq 8 Studio Bundle. I use dedicated computers for home, school, and performances, each running one of my three Pianoteq authorizations. Now the mobile version requires I deactivate a license to use it — but once deauthorized, a machine can never be authorized again. Not cool, Modartt. Not cool.

  • Woah!

It’s the full thing, even with PTQ files and all 🤯

Absolutely love it, so great to finally have this in a super portable format ❤️
  • Nothing like it!

This is by far the most expressive and playable piano library I’ve used. They’ve nailed physical modeling, and it works flawlessly in this new iOS port. It plays like a real piano, responds exactly as I’d expect, and the tweakability is in a league of its own. It responds immediately to patch switches and adjustments with zero load time, since there are no samples. Voicings sound better than ever in v8, and it now stands up there with some of my favorite sample libraries, without the massive footprint. Great customer service, love the licensing model, -and the tech is at the top of its class! You have to play it to appreciate it.

  • 🙂

as a person who sometimes plays through a tablet, it would be much more convenient if you made it possible to add second row of the keyboard, and the ability to increase/decrease number of visible keys.

I think it's too brazen of me to ask you to do this🫤
  • High playability!

I still need to purchase the app pianos but the sound and feel of this is awesome. I really think modeling is the way to go on iOS apps. I recently spent a lot of cash on getting PC and other iOS apps so it’s a little steep right now for me but definitely worth the the price. I will invest more in this app later as it pretty much takes care of all my auv3 needs for a piano sound. I also like the multi platform payment model. Pay once and available for iPad and Mac. They app seems very stable also and I have not seen any crashes that I remember. Kinda glad I held off on some of the other piano apps. The hype about pianoteq seems to be true. 😃

Adjusting touch curves with touch controls is a dream! Thank you for bringing the PianoTeq experience to mobile devices. I look forward to further updates.
  • The best piano app by far

Honestly this is how apps should be developed. It is polished works absolutely perfectly. No crashes on my iPhone 11. Identical quality to the desktop app. The sound is stunning.
  • Great sounds. Too expensive

Would love to have these incredibly realistic physically modeled sounds but way out of my price range.
  • The best piano sounds for iOS!

This is truly amazing and a game changer for iOS. The variety of instruments and thoughtful detail to bring the same quality from desktop to iPad/iPhone. Great work Pianoteq! It’s worth the cost.
