  • You made my dreams come true!

Seriously, having this the same piano quality in my studio and now on my iPad is a dream come true. Thank you Modartt!
  • Fantastic!

I installed this yesterday. Fortunately, my keyboard has Bluetooth MIDI built in (Kawai ES920), it was so easy to make the connection. From there I used a lightning to 3.5mm audio adapter. Using a standard headphone. There was no detectable latency. This functionality is awesome. Now I don’t have to lug my laptop to gigs, which is apparently the point of this app. Kudos to the Modartt team for providing this experience!

  • beyond expectations

With this app, I now have Pianoteq as a completely portable kit with no external power source required. It's plug and play, working perfectly on my old iPad Pro 10.5 using Apple's Camera Adapter hooked up to my Novus NV10. This is an absolutely amazing achievement and a very unique portable software piano solution.

  • Absolute favorite piano plug-in.

Extremely dynamic and full featured. Robust sound. The demo really shows you what this app has to offer with minimal commitment.
Size is tiny, sound competes with apps 50x the size.

In demo you can try all the packs and try it as a plug-in. At only 50 mb, it’s worth a trial.

After being convinced, I bought the plug-in on the site first then unlocked in iOS. Now I have full blown Pianoteq on ALL platforms.

  • Amazing

Amazing! I’ve been a Pianoteq user for some time now on my laptop. This app appears to offer feature parity and can provide the same professional quality sound you would expect from the desktop version. It’s such a game changer to be able to hook up my piano to my iPad via USB and have an array of amazing sounds at my fingertips in real time. The licensing model is also fantastic as you can try every single piano model for free, and it just excludes a few keys. Pianoteq has always been amazing software and this app further elevates it.

  • Nice surprise

Just as good as the desktop version, which is probably my most used piano atm. So it was a nice surprise to discover it was free to transfer one of my three activation slots over to the iPad. Also, worth thinking about - Ravenscroft is 861mb, Pure Piano 1gb, and Pianoteq just 53mb and not resource hungry… and that 53mb includes all instruments.

  • I gather this …

… app is ok if you already have the desktop version modules/licences already costing many £100’s … which doesn’t apply to me, never has, probably never will. I’ve never used a pc for any musical reasons. IMHO desktop businesses should stay in their lane & not sully the lane of iOS …
  • Yes, finally!

Have waited for this for what seems like forever but I can’t complain since Modartt obviously spent the time making sure they got it right. I know trolls will eventually get here and complain about how it isn’t free or how much upgrades/instruments cost, but I’m sorry, that’s the price you pay for quality.

  • This is how you port an app to iOS

Kudos to Modartt for porting the full version of their beautiful app to iOS with a pricing model that just makes sense. It’s a huge step forward for music making on the platform. Hoping other companies take notice and follow in their footsteps. This is not just the best sounding piano on iOS, but possibly the biggest technological leap EVER in the VST space. Do your research before buying. Worth every penny.

  • The only piano that fits in your pocket!

I have been using the desktop version of Pianoteq for years.

It is amazing that the Pianoteq technology now works on IOS.

This is the best piano, electric piano, classical guitar and more you can fit in your pocket.

This will be a great practice aid for me!

Big thanks to Modartt for extending their high tech modeling to the iOS.

    5 stars!
