Driving to Pepe’s
I added an hour to a 90 minute drive to pick up a large clam pizza from Pepe’s for my son as an early Father’s Day surprise at his wife’s suggestion. I am delighted I am able to satisfy a craving. We’ve been eating the clam pizzas for 30 years beginning and still visiting New Haven (the mother ship)

Where’s The Pizza
So I ordered 2 pies for delivery. I had to bring my Golden Retriever to be put down later in the afternoon, and he loves Pepe’s, so this would have been his last meal. The pizza was delivered to the wrong house! The driver would not answer the phone. The Driver was from Uber Direct. I called Pepe’s and the girl that answered the phone said “ there is nothing I can do for you, you have to call DoorDash”. Are you for real??? I had to demand a manager to get a refund. Why????

Pepe pizza
I first had Pepe’s pizza over 20 years ago in Connecticut. I really enjoyed it then and always left an impression on me. The pizza was in this new Delray Beach location is fantastic. I had the white pizza with spinach mushrooms, and Gorgonzola and my husband had the traditional margarita pizza. They were both delicious. We started off with a very nice frank Pepe salad. And a glass of white wine served in small little juice glasses. The service was great. We will definitely be back!

The best pizza in America!
Pepe’s in Delray did not disappoint. As a former Cat resident , the pizza was just as great as my first slice in New Haven!
Transported to Wooster Street
Frank Pepe’s Delray Beach is fantastico! Of course, the service was superb, never kept waiting, very attentive, not rushed in any way, so friendly. Fresh salad & my pizza was cooked to perfection. Fresh ingredients & the best cheese with no fillers! The flavor was incredible! It was just like being transported back to Wooster Street! My limoncello do clean & lite, delish! I like it that CT people are there working permanently and that some Pepe’s top dogs are there for several weeks, training the employees. The restaurant is new & beautiful with a Wooster Street old school mural. I’m so glad they are here in SoFL! I’ll be going back again & again & again but…. Not tonight, because I have some great leftovers!! 😊
