Cool concept - not there yet
Cool concept, but I’ve struggled to to find quality opportunities that pay well. Hard to get a response from quality clients and a lot of the jobs aren’t paid or pay very low. Once in a while a unicorn opportunity will be listed, but rarely will you hear anything back. Maybe in the future there will be more opportunities on here, but for now, it’s a miss for me.

great interface, but let’s have filter save settings
Hi! I love nova,
but one thing i would add is the ability to save your filtered settings when searching for gigs! So say i’m in LA, and i do photography and editing. if there was a way to save those filters when looking up gigs, that would be great! would save time:)

Buggy and invasive
The application part on IPhone is buggy. The section for notorious works does not scroll down and you can’t attach any photos.
You have to give your password to your Ingram through a portal on their site. I don’t like that there is no reason for this app to need my login information for my instagram

For The Love of God Add Notifications
I will get selected for jobs but i’m managing like 12 social media apps at once. I need to know when someone messages me back about a job. Add notifications please. This is basic.

Don’t waste your time.
This app was created so the dev can boost his and his homies following and nothing else. Good luck getting any work in it and if you do, good luck getting paid fairly. This app directly contributes to the race to the bottom where rates are low, and you get hired for clout - not your years of very real professional experience.

Can’t get approved.
I applied well over a month and a half ago and I emailed support to ask why I hadn’t been approved. Even though I attached my entire website portfolio as well as my instagram where all of my photography goes, they told me my application was put on hold because I didn’t have “official client work attached to my application.” (which there isn’t even an option to put that stuff on your application other than your website…). I sent my website again through email in case the link was buggy on the app and asked how else they would want client work attached and have not heard from them again since. The approval process makes no sense.

Convinced it’s the next big thing.
Pretty incredible for a new app. The dopamine hit from accessing some top talent and emerging creatives through NOVA has totally changed the game. It’s like having a global community of the best of the best just a click away. Complete democratization of the creative market. I was able to hire for a project super easily and got some amazing profiles to choose from and connect with. The ability to host my work on there is so cool and easy.
