Too much clicking around, game changed
Started off as a fun tower war game, but quickly became annoying when there is an unrelated game of collecting resources, battle bonuses, and achievement bonuses.
There is like 100 different types of things you need to click on to play the game, it’s annoying and the castle building game has absolutely nothing to do with the original tower game.
Worst part is that as you level up they take features that were free on lower levels and make you start to pay for them…. I.e. the Dog and the 2nd Castle Builder.
Lastly I feel like there was several times where I had to make a purchase just to make it to the next level… made it obvious that the game was becoming more and more pay to play.

100% pay to win
The game itself is fun, but there are only 2 ways you can enjoy it without getting beaten to a pulp every day. You either join a major guild/clan, and hope they have high level players that are on frequently and are willing to retaliate or protect allies, or you pay out the nose to keep ahead of everyone else.
There are no PVE only servers. It would be great if there were. It’s the internet, so there are a ton of jerks. The jerks often band together and beat on the weaker people or the people with no clans. Troops require a lot of resources to create. Troops die or get injured in battles between players, and injured troops require resources to heal…a lot of resources. Resources can only be gathered by troops. So if other players constantly kill or injure your troops and you can’t gather resources without those troops, you basically can’t play the game. Unless of course you are willing to pay $5 every 8 hours or $10 every 24 hours to get shields that protect you from other players.
Yeah….its a money grab, pure and simple.
Two stars for decent design and overall playability, and for a fun mini game, but the game mechanics that support oppressive gameplay is awful.

Pretty fun
I’m writing this review on my first day of playing kindof fun. Bummer you have to pay for 2x but everyone needs to be paid
Not actual game
Pay to play and isn’t even the game that’s advertise. Just wanted to play with the castles, not the other game they have hidden in it. Was fun till I couldn’t play the game advertised. Deleted and won’t be reinstalling.

Worst for new players!
All empires are already occupied by old players and no way to change the server to other. Bad players in my server but they are most powerful group and attack others if they didn’t follow their rules! No chance to grow up with them!
False advertising
The ads for this game only show the fun of attacking castles and figuring out the strategy of controlling multiple castles. Unfortunately the actual “game” is the cliche of trying to level up your own castle, subjects, and heroes…as well as shooting ads at you every chance they get and trying to get you to buy upgrades. The castle attacks are only a small portion of the game (the only fun part) and the game only allows you to play a few matches between upgrades. Played this game for a few days and then deleted it. I’ll never go back. Developers, you want to keep people playing? Let them play the games that you advertise.
