Seems Alright So Far

It seems all right, normally I’d complain about the subscription fee, but I think CDDA on a mobile device is niche enough that it’s justifiable, I also appreciate that it is yearly instead of monthly, but it would be nice to have the option of monthly? My biggest gripe so far is that the buy now dialogue box is a bit obnoxious in terms of design, it’s too big and bright.
Update: Tried a bluetooth keyboard with this (logitech k480) and it reads my inputs twice at times, very bummed out about that.

Best CDDA Port for Apple

While this is without any doubts the best option for playing CDDA on an apple device, there does seem to be an issue on my device with the game consistently crashing while exploring unexplored map areas, hoping that’ll be fixed in the next update.

When it comes to the topic of subscription pricing other users are leaving negative reviews for, I personally don’t mind and believe the price fair despite having bought previous versions of the game from Apollov. The App Store charges prices akin to extortion from smaller publishers for “hosting” their apps on a monthly basis, not to mention that it can be difficult to motivate oneself to maintain said apps when they’re an independent developer.

Hey, thank your warm words. It means really much to me! As for the crash while exploring... I was experiencing this bug now and then while playing the game both desktop and mobile, and AFAICS it went worse with time. There's nothing I can do about it, because the circumstances of this happening are unknown, besides the fact it just happens time to time, and I'm not deep into the game code enough to suspect any part of it. More frequent auto saves should make life a bit better.

Subscription based.

Not a fan of a yearly sub. one time buy maybe.

The UI is shifted compared to the other ports, and game pad on the bottom left is clipping with the phone making the diagonal bottom left very hard to tap.

Why subscription?

Would pay the flat fee for the app but refuse to pay a subscription.

Good but unfortunate

Love CDDA and respect that the guy has to make a profit, but I’d rather just buy it outright than have to do a subscription.

Need to be one off payment instead of subscription.

That and there’s a full screen bug which as soon as you change the resolution you can’t change them back to the default settings. In app purchase you buy it or one of them once should be so much better than a subscription fee for people who only play one of them only. Also the fact it’s putting people off since this game is free, but I don’t mind supporting the dev, but not by subscription.

Needs work but it’s steady so far.

Looking for a lifetime subscription

Is this possible? Why is it per year?

Excessive Greed

Yury I paid money for OF and now it’s gone, and in its stead is this greedy app that demands payments left and right. I’m extremely disappointed. I was hoping one day you’d port experimental. Don’t get me wrong in this money hungry world this isn’t the worst that’s been done but it’s still makes me angry that you removed OF. You could’ve kept it and worked on it still, it was like an amalgamation of all your hard work. This just feels like a step backwards. I’ve been here since you dropped OE man, you’ve really been satisfying my need for CDDA for years, and now I might have to do my own ports just to get what I’m looking for.

Thank you for your review. Well, there were no updates to 0.F and 0.E, because, well, they are fixed versions, they were meant to freeze. Also I wasn't developing the way the app is ported further, because I'm not playing the game anymore for a coupe of years, so I'm not interested in it. Also I wasn't interested in delivering 0.G, for same reasons. At the same time I understand that there are people that are interested in those and no other person in this world provides such a thing. So I found a tiny bit of motivation in a thought that maybe some income will keep me updating the game. Otherwise the update won't ever come at all. Also I've removed older versions because Apple already was saying that there are too many of them. I'll try(upd: actually done that in a minute: easier than I thought it would be) to return them though, because I get that people that bought them in past and upgrades their devices won't be able to install them anymore. So it is a dilemma: to quit updating the stuff and make people sad or to deliver the update asking for money and make people angry. I've chosen the latter, because there are people who will be happy about it.

I have to pay for it I think it’s a subscription

It’s a good game but can you at least remove like half the stuff and make it so you have infinite turns or just make it free

Thank you for your review. I'll think about it, you just gave me a couple of ideas.
