Technical step-by-step

I love how everything is explained a step at a time with progression. Videos are also good quality. Worth the subscription!

Best jump rope skill resource available

This app has been essential to my progress in free style jump rope…Highly recommended!

Very well developed

Love the app, so well developed! Every move is broken down into easily followed steps. It’d be good if there’s a function where I could loop each skill’s demo when I’m airplaying the videos in the app to my TV.

Love it!

This app has really helped me with my jump rope journey! Great value for money vs anything else out there. I’d recommend to anyone wanting to improve their jump rope skills!

Well worth it!

Ignore the old/outdated reviews, and you will find a really reasonably priced app, well worth the money. The new pricing scheme is great value when you compare it to just one session with a Personal Trainer, or a 1:1 jump rope lesson (which is impossible to find anyway), let alone access for a month or longer.
The skills and combo builder means you can truly up-skill yourself, as well as have a great cardio workout. The fun of the app is it allows you to use it at your own pace and is much easier to use than other platforms or websites.
I say go for it, it’ll be worth it! Huge fan.

I love this app!!

If you haven’t already, you have got to check out Lauren’s fancy feats app. It is incredibly helpful and makes learning jump rope fun!! I love the convenience that I can take it just about anywhere, go at my own pace and track progress. I’m so glad a free trial is offered and is money well spent on continuing to learn techniques, different moves and having the ease of built-in workouts for endurance training!! Lauren is like a personal trainer. Factoring in the cost for a personal trainer per hour. I think makes the cost to use this app very reasonable and affordable.

Not intuitive (updated review)

Love her IG posts so I was excited to try the app. I wanted to love it, but the way it works is not intuitive. After some frustration and almost just deleting it, I got help from their support. The programs or lessons are good, but the app is poorly designed.

Response from developer

Hey! Thank you for your review. I don’t believe this to be the case - the majority the skills I do are on the app already and it’s always being added to. May I check that you’ve marked any skills you can do as complete? More advanced skills have pre-requisites so the app is set up in a way to prompt you to learn those first but you self certify when you have completed a skill by simply marking it as complete in the top right corner of the skill. Doing this for multiple skills as a more advanced jump roper will only take a couple of minutes and then it will suggest all the more advanced skills and combos you can now learn. Hope that helps. Skill map won’t load

The APP seems great to navigate but the videos on the skill map won’t load..I double checked to ensure the skill was unlocked and tried on various WiFi networks but the videos still won’t load after a week. However the training videos do.

Hey! Please send an email to support@fancyfeats.app so we can help you :) If your internet is working, please also ensure you don’t have a VPN enabled as that can interfere with accessing the videos. The support team will be happy to help. L x

No preview asks straight for money

I mean just go on YT and learn for free. It’s really putting off you don’t even get a taste of the app.

Response from developer

Hey! Thank you for your feedback. We usually offer a free trial as our introductory offer but we’re currently offering a big discount across all subscriptions. Unfortunately Apple won’t allow us to run a free trial whilst we’re running a sale on subscriptions. The sale ends 25/03/24 so you can wait until then to try the app on a free trial if you wish. Or check out @fancy.feats or @lauren.jumps on Instagram to get some insights into what you can expect from the app. Please do update your review of the app if you give it a go! Thanks :) L x

Love the app, price too high

As a beginner/intermediate jumproper this app is *exactly* what I’ve been looking for - simple breakdowns, some new fancy footwork, combos, etc. Really love it. But $25 a month is just way too high. It’s prohibitive for most people.

Seconding some feedback on the skill map… I understand the intent, but it’s far too on-rails. I found myself dedicating 15 min to clicking on every skill and tapping ‘complete’, just so I could see the rest of them. We need to be able to explore to get motivated and excited to learn.
