Love the app, price too high

As a beginner/intermediate jumproper this app is *exactly* what I’ve been looking for - simple breakdowns, some new fancy footwork, combos, etc. Really love it. But $25 a month is just way too high. It’s prohibitive for most people.

Seconding some feedback on the skill map… I understand the intent, but it’s far too on-rails. I found myself dedicating 15 min to clicking on every skill and tapping ‘complete’, just so I could see the rest of them. We need to be able to explore to get motivated and excited to learn.

Bad

There is no programs only tutorials for the moves which is helpful but the program lacks a lot of things and regarding to its price is hella expensive! The help button doesn’t work to show us how to measure the jump rope and there is a notification for subscription to newsletters which pops up every time you wanna watch the tutorials and when you click subscribe it sends error message and if you clock don’t subscribe shows error message either way!!!! And the notification doesn’t go unless to press the home button.

I’ve subscribed only for one month and it was such a waste of money.

Thank you tho

Response from developer

Hi there, thank you for your review but I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues. We can’t replicate these issues ourselves so would really appreciate more info to help us investigate. Please can you email support@fancyfeats.app with any info you can provide and screenshots? We would really like to help. For those that prefer programmes and workouts over the detailed skill and combo tutorials in the app currently, we are close to launching an update which will include a growing library of workouts and programmes. This will also coincide with the launch of a new Lite subscription option. This may be more suitable to your needs so look out updates! Thanks again and hope to receive an email from you so we can help further, L x

Love it!

Really love the bite size tutorials and how clearly Lauren breaks down all the moves. Has been a massive game changer for unlocking new skills quickly! Would happily and highly recommend :)

Best learning app for beginners

I really enjoy using the Fancy Feats app! Even though there are great free tutorials online, Lauren visually breaks down each move in her app, which gives the brain time to comprehend what you’re seeing and learning! Her tutorials are shown in slow motion, and often from different angles. I also find the app motivating! Because she demystifies movements that you think you could never achieve, that are too hard or tricky. Once you watch her break it down in her tutorials, you realize that they’re simple enough to take one step at a time until you have it down! I bought a 6 month subscription which for me wasn’t necessary as I learned the moves quickly. But a 1-3 month subscription to learn the basics is definitely recommended!

Looks great but WAY too expensive

Followed you on Youtube and you inspired this 50 year old to get fit - the app idea sounded great but $40 a month is a crazy price to charge. If in was $5 or $10 a month you’d probably get thousands of users… I’ll sadly be cancelling before the free trial runs out. Such a shame

Too expensive

Just started out so was excited to see there was an app but straight in at £24 a month is way too much. Such a shame. Some gym memberships are cheaper than that. ☹️

Jump rope tricks made easy ☺️

I’ve had the app for several months now and it is SO much fun! 🥳 I really appreciate how the tutorials show slow motion video with graphics to indicate hand/foot placement, etc! The skills map is motivating — I want to get to the point of doing combos, but I know I need to master the fundamentals first. Yes, the app is expensive. However, I live in an area that doesn’t really have quality gyms, so I wouldn’t be able to progress in learning jump rope otherwise. I also like being able to overcome the awkward learning stages from the privacy of home ☺️ I can easily imagine the costs and leaps of faith it took to develop the app; I’m hoping it will become more affordable once some of those costs have been recouped :) all in all, it’s really worth the cost anyway.

Expensive

I’m sure a lot of effort has been put in building this app but £25 a month is a lot considering that something like Asana rebel is £30 a year which is more expected for a fitness app.

Way too expensive!

Was so willing to cancel my other fitness subscription for this as I’ve really got into rope jumping recently and I love watching Lauren’s videos however this is a ridiculous monthly cost. Most fitness apps are £5-£9.99 a month which I have no problem switching between them depending on what I fancy doing but I won’t be including this one in that rotation.

Love this app

This app is amazing. Very detailed. A lot of work has gone into this and I can not wait for the updates! I’m obsessed! No more searching for tricks and wasting time, everything is right here. Extremely easy step by steps. ➰➿➰
