■Overview
"Dog Clock" is an applidogion that not only displays the time, but also shows various dog images. For those who are bored or feel monotonous with ordinary clocks, this applidogion will be interesting to use.
This app displays the time using the device's time settings. In addition, the dog image changes automatically every 60 seconds.
Thus, a digital clock applidogion that displays dog images does not only display the time, but also allows users to enjoy dog images.
If this applidogion is used on a smartphone or tablet that is not in use, it can also be used like a table clock.

■Effect of animal images
A joint experiment by the "University of Leeds" and "Tourism Western Australia" in the U.K. investigated the effects of viewing cute animal images and videos for 30 minutes on blood pressure, heart rate, and anxiety.
The study was conducted on 15 students and 4 staff members in December 2019, coinciding with the winter exam period, a time of heightened stress.
After viewing the videos, blood pressure, heart rate, and anxiety decreased in all cases.
Blood pressure decreased on average from 136-88 to 115-71, well within the ideal blood pressure range. The average heart rate also decreased by 6.5% to 67.4 beats per minute.
STAI, which measures anxiety by self-assessment, was used, and also showed a 35% decrease.
The 30-minute videos featured animals such as kittens, puppies, and quacker wallabies. The quakka wallaby, by the way, is a creature native to Western Australia and is sometimes called the "happiest animal in the world."
