  • Great game

Game is fun leveling up your character and equipment to fight harder monsters/bosses. Good community of players, the dev actually plays the game and interacts with the everyone in game and discord. He’s constantly listening to the players and working to make improvements. Recently added player market and is releasing clan wars soon. Excited to see what the future hold foe Corah.

  • Passionate Devs

This game has such a nostalgic feel. It has a done a great job of modernizing the great gameplay of old rpgs back in the day. The devs truly care about this game and ,as a matter of fact, they actually play the game too. You can see the devs playing and chatting in world chat with everyone and even have their own guild. Please give this game a try!

Thanks so much for your review ❤ We are playing the game too, that's true. The main goal why we develop the game is that we want to play it :D
  • Quite Confusing

Updated review: Game no longer crashes. I’ve played a LOT of mobile games. Might just be me, but I was very confused at how the game works. No tutorial or hints or anything that I could see. I clicked random things for a few minutes and then deleted it after I couldn’t figure out what the game really is.

iPhone 13 Pro. Lots of space. Good internet. Game developer myself. Game crashes once the first progress bar hits the end. Never been able to play. Deleting and reinstalling doesn’t help.

Updated answer: The tutorial will be added very soon, it's a matter of days. Thanks a lot for your input. Desipte the tutorial, you can always ask in the Global Chat / Discord Server, the community is very helpful. It works now, with the current version. Sorry for the inconveniences! Have fun @ Corah :)
  • Game just crashes on startup :/

I would love to try the game but it just crashes to homescreen whenever i try to start it. Iphone 12 mini. I would love to update the review higher, but until i can play it I'll just have to leave it. Crashing on startup is kinda lame :(

  • Critics are not “trolls,” dev.

Watched this one from a distant on the discord and played maybe 40ish hours during early access/beta. Saw a lot of issues but hoped it would improve on release. The main issue, honestly, was that this game… isn’t a game. There’s nothing fun about it. You can’t make a game’s primary mechanic watching paint dry.

The dev took a fairly good idea, coded it to make it work, then did so many DUMB things after that and got called out on it time after time. But instead of listening, people were just called trolls.

Covering the issue of your game being… terribly boring, slow, lacking in any incremental factors, lacking in any idle factors, lacking in ANYTHING—covering all that with MORE micro transactions is sad.

Thanks a lot for your review. It's a pity you didn't like Corah. We launched Corah only 21 days ago. We're adding new content / features in a fast pace to improve Corah and make it to one of the greatest MMORPG / RPG games. Please feel free to share any further suggestions, we'll be glad to read them.
  • Incomplete And Misleading Features

Just quit the game after playing for two weeks. This is not a semi idle RPG. The only way to progress effectively is to upgrade gear, and there is NO mechanism for doing that afk. Botting and cheating have led the developer to implement a captcha solution so you cannot even leave the game open and let it play unattended. Requiring a player to actively watch their screen hour hours to advance isn’t a game, that’s just a crappier version of real life.

    Developer Response

Thanks a lot for your review. It's a pity you didn't like Corah. The captcha is there since a long time. It pops up once per 8h in average. It's just one click to close it. Takes 1 second in 8 hours of active play. You should know that we're working around the clock to improve Corah and make it to one of the greatest MMORPG / RPG games. Please feel free to share any further suggestions, we'll be glad to read them.
  • Ehhh..

The game starts out fun and claims to be “ idle “.
It’s truly not idle, you need to keep your phone open for 10+ hours a day to make any progress. The dev is constantly pushing balancing updates that’s makes things worse. Making changes on the fly without a proper test.

The core game loop is boring, you essentially grind for hours on hours clicking one button. When upgrading equipment get ready to be constantly failing. There is also a strong pay to progress mechanic. I can see the game dying pretty soon, as
    Players are quitting in droves.

That.. Franky.. that is also a possible way of seeing things :D Thanks anyway for trying Corah, FrankyFrank!
  • Very well done. Not exactly for me but might keep me playing

Refreshing concept on mobile. Looks great as well. I prefer more idling than the game provides though. It’s sort of annoying that you just watch the screen and click it once a minute to gain items, and you can’t even minimize the game without pausing it.

I think this is sort of unavoidable and it does benefit the game well, but it’s boring.

Still, very well thought out game.

Thank you so much your review ❤ It's amazing to read that you like the game even if the whole concept doesn't fit to you very well. Please stay tuned, we are just at the very beginning. The development of new features happens very fast, perhaps the game is in a few months in a different shape which pleases you more.
  • Credit Card Simulator

This game is one of the most P2W games I’ve seen on the App Store. You will get nickle and dimed for everything and will get to a point where you can’t make any progress without spending money.

The in app purchases go all the way up to $100+ and there is a $6 per month subscription option in a phone game that’s primarily PvE and where all you do is watch numbers on your screen pop up.

There isn’t really any game to actually play. You just press a start button and watch numbers happen for 50 seconds until you have to press the start button again.

The high level players are all mega whales that have been duped into thinking this game is actually gonna have a decent lifespan.

It doesn’t help that the dev acts like a child and treats people like crap on his social media anytime someone critiques the game.

Don’t be fooled by this money laundering scheme of a “game” and instead go play something that actually respects your time and hard-earned money.

Thanks a lot for your review. Really thankful that you took your time to write your thoughts. It's great to see how different the players can see our game. Yes, you are absoluteley right. Corah has no actual 'gameplay'. Our goal is to live up the oldschool PC MMORPG feeling on a mobile device. Main aspects like socializing and grinding (online or offline) can't be done that well with an actual 'gameplay' on a mobile device, we think. This is why we converted the actual gameplay to manage everything and improve while feeling the oldschool PC MMORPG atmosphere. A lot of our players feel this, this is the main goal of Corah :) The biggest part of the players are F2P players, they also are in the Top 10. As the game has no ads, we would appreciate some support as it's our only income source but it's up to the player of course.
  • Was expecting more

Plays like an unfinished game. There’s a $6/month IAP for minor QOL adjustments. Tons of other IAPs for $10-20 each in diamonds that give huge advantages (longer afk time, longer pet gathering, more pets, 3x exp potions (cost $3 per hour), and more...) Diamonds can also be openly traded in the market for quest scrolls to level faster which are about the only exciting thing in the game. The gap between each gear set is nearly 30 levels early game which is DAYS of actively playing. But don’t worry… you level much faster online and ONLY gain loot when you are online. If you are looking to keep a game running 16 hours per day.. this on is for you. It’s almost like the dev made the game painfully slow to entice people to buy the IAPs. The guild interface is so buggy its almost unusable. The play loop is extremely basic.. you just sit at a boss farming it and chatting until you can move to the next. This game needs to be more fleshed out. At the moment it’s just a chat room with an almost RPG game to distract you in between messages… oh.. also there’s no filter on names so people with the N-word as their name pop up in chat randomly. It’s quite exciting. Overall, just a little confused.. the app description says no p2w but it’s basically pay to play. I am truly convinced the only reason this has a good rating is because the dev constantly solicits 5 star reviews from people in his discord anytime he answers a question or helps them.
