Upgrade not working on 12.2.1
Went to upgrade and the app won’t connect to telescope however it looks like I can view images on the as card? So not sure what’s going on? I’d stay way from this update till this is figured out.AA5MC

That word “clunky” describes it best.
It works, but then it doesn’t.
It was definitely designed by engineers. Overly long and complex ways of doing things. They need to hire a person who natively speaks English. Let that person write the instructions in the app and online.
The app is very cluttered and it’s easy to accidentally go from astrophotography to daytime photography and not even realize that you have hit the button.

What is the back-end for this App? It’s terribly buggy, and some common sense features are missing. Is it only a bad experience on dwarf II connected to an iOS device? give us a useful app to save us from this poor experience…. pleaaaasee! 😭Unbelievable!
The DWARF scope is amazing and I appreciate all that’s possible in the app. Calibration, goto, and stacking of deep sky objects is 10x easier than traditional setups. Use the quick list or manually enter targets from sky safari or stellarium. The curve editor for live stacking works great. Daytime videos and pics are a nice bonus especially with object tracking. The developers keep adding features the community wants like station mode for control over home WiFi. Keep up the good work!emalafeew
App and tele connected to each other once then never worked again.
Like many others here the tele stopped connecting after the first time. In reading deeper it seems that an automatic firmware update may be responsible for bricking my unit. Either way the system is entirely broken because the app and device cannot communicate. I had high hopes for this but now it is an expensive paperweight and the company doesn’t care. Don’t buy unless you have money to waste and a high level of frustration toleration.Randy qw
Documentation
The documentation for this unit is spotty, disorganized, and incomplete and close to useless.
I suspect there is a fundamentally good tool here but lacking organized and complete documentation the user is pretty much reduced to trial and error.
