Description of Fitness Pact

Boring workouts are dead. It’s time to have fun. Fitness Pact lets you create a fitness connection with your friends. It’s the ultimate way to keep yourself, and a buddy, accountable. First, you select your workout and how often you want to complete it. Then, your friends choose theirs. Finally, you each come up with your “payoff” or punishment if you fail. Fitness Pact tracks everything for you. All you have to do is have fun (and workout, duh.) We’ll automatically create a group feed for you and your friends to laugh at (or encourage) each other. You’ll also get to keep track of everyone’s “punishments.” Unlike social media, a fitness connection will truly motivate you. Did you know that you are 95% more likely to achieve your goals when you have a buddy regularly checking in to keep you accountable? That’s the power of pacts. So grab your friends, hold each other accountable, and form a fitness connection. The best part is you don’t need to do the same workouts, meet in person, or even be in the same city. Let your friend group keep you accountable (or let punishment be your motivation, your choice). You’ll be torn between wanting to see your friends succeed and laughing at their punishment. Get ready to be lit up with motivation and accountability. Grab a buddy and make the ultimate fitness connection. Each time your friends complete a workout, you’ll be notified. We do this to keep you accountable, but more importantly, to remind you to work out so you don’t have to face your punishment. Private pacts mean nobody outside the pact can see the activity. So post to the feed without hesitation. Or, make it public to put on a show off for the entire Fitness Pact Community. Visit the community feed to have a laugh, have some fun, or find some inspiration and motivation (and maybe some accountability). Fitness Pact is meant to be fun first, fitness second. So we focus on tracking the fun and not the statistics. Want to hear something neat? The American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) did a study in 2010 on accountability, and found out that the probability of completing a goal is: 10% – If you have an idea or a goal. 25% – If you consciously decide you will do it. 40% – If you decide when you will do it. 50% – If you plan how you will do it. 65% – If you commit to someone, you will do it. 95% – If you have a specific accountability appointment with a person you’ve committed to. So grab a friend and start a pact! You’ll be 95% more likely to hit your goals. That’s, like, a lot. • Wish I Found This Sooner

  • App doesn’t work on my Iphonr

I tried doing this with my 2 girls and they were able to get it to work. For some reason I can’t join their pact and also when I try to delete the app it won’t allow me to. Sounds like a great app and looks like fun however I did not have any luck with it and of course there is no one to contact to help.

  • Best App to Commit to Working Out

What a great app! I wish I had found this sooner. This keeps me motivated and I love how I can get my friends involved. The “punishments” add an extra layer of fun to the mix.
