  • Filters don't work, keeps rotating people constantly

Thought this app would have potential, but even if you limit the pool of people in your filters, it will still populate your feed with people like 600 miles away from you. It will also constantly rotate people you have already swiped left into your feed. There's also no filter by ethnicity, so you can't filter out the people who are here with yellow fever/kpop fetish.

  • Will delete the App

I heard about this App and wanted to try it since so many of these similar Apps are pretty much the same. Finally I get waved at after how long but in order to see who it is I have to pay. I understand that companies need to make money; just wish they were more upfront about it. I have not received messages yet but I’m dreading when I finally do send or get a message I need to pay to even do that.

  • Bug and not really a safe space

There are some bugs with messaging and it’s not really the safe space for the Asian community that it’s advertised to be.

It’s about 50% other people who are obsessed with Asian culture usually anime or K-pop which they say in their bio and interests.

I feel like the app is pointless if the filters don’t work because it’s pretty much just Tinder or Hinge.

  • Won’t let me make an account

Me and my friends all downloaded this app. But none of us can get past the account creation. It says my phone number is invalid, any other number is invalid. My friends phone number worked but when she created the account, it loaded forever and never made the account. It’s just not letting any of us do it. I don’t know what’s wrong with this app lol.

  • Kinda annoying

I tried setting my preferences to women only. Guys keep showing up on my social page though. Since I’m in a relationship with a man, it makes me uncomfortable scrolling through men while just trying to find female friends.

Please make the settings actually work and filter out guys PLEASE
  • Could be better

Honestly it could be better - location filtering could work better it’s pretty much nonexistent now recommending people 150 miles away, they should show you who you’ve liked in the past, menus seem desolate, and just doesn’t seem to be well thought out - hope it improves over time
  • Kinda buggy and not everyone is actually Asian

Other people have mentioned this already, but there should be a filter to block out people who aren't actually Asian. Kinda weird to have an app built around Asian community-building and then have other people in it. Also, I frequently have issues where pictures just stop loading, so it's just a bunch of white squares mixed with prompts.

  • Make it truly an app for the Asian community

Echoing what a lot of other reviewers have said, there is a need for a safe space for Asians to find other Asians. The more non-Asian users are on the app, the more it takes away from this space and its purpose. While the app cannot exclude users, they should allow users to filter according to their preferences. At the most basic level, it’s what all dating apps should do—allow people to find who they are looking for. Also the app uses up too much storage. Fix this!

  • Can’t finish making profile

Every time I try to add a photo to my profile it says it’s unable to add due to “not meeting requirements” and there’s no way for me to skip this part. Doesn’t tell what those requirements are. Can’t even get into the main part of the app because of this.
  • Too awkward and feels like dating

I love that the first thing you’re asked is if you’re wanting to date or not. For those just trying to make connections and NOT date, this is great. But then you get into the app and it’s the typical dating swipe left / swipe right. This was a huge turn off for me. This is the established method for dating, I think if you’re trying to do something for friends it will have to be something totally different. Maybe just a list of people that you can see and connect / message? The swipe factor is a huge no no for me.

Also the groups seem to be national which is pretty useless for building community. There should be an ability to create your own local groups, for example me making a group in Houston
