Widgets, Focus Filters and more App Intents! - The app can now render workload statuses and Prometheus metrics as widgets. - We've broadened the amount of actions supported via App Intents to now be able to list resources, open specific resources, edit resources, restart workloads, delete resources, open shells to pods and nodes, open logs of workloads, and much more. - You can now activate and deactivate clusters via Focus Filters. - We've improved the reliability and loading speed of all Prometheus charts inside the app.

Prometheus support! - The app can now query Prometheus instances running in your clusters. - We've completely revamped the main dashboard view, now featuring a nicer grid layout and donut charts for the cluster resource overviews. - We've added a variety of Prometheus-powered time series charts to the main dashboard. - We've created detailed metrics charts for pods, deployments, daemon sets, stateful sets, replica sets, jobs, cron jobs, nodes and PVCs. You can open them from a resource's detail view or for multiple resources at once from a list view. - We've fixed a bug causing the detail views of large config maps and secrets to sometimes freeze. New in 1.5.1: - We've improved the reloading and rendering behavior of the Prometheus charts on the main dashboard. - We've improved the automatic resolution selection of all time series charts. - We've improved the concurrency of Prometheus query loading. New in 1.5.2: - We've improved the window behavior on macOS. The app now keeps running in the background and restores its last window and tab state on reopening. - You can now create port forwardings more conveniently from the context menu on the pod and service list views and from the toolbar on the pod detail view. - We've fixed a regression causing auto-selected local ports on port forwardings to sometimes not immediately render on the UI. New in 1.5.3: - The app now supports dark and tinted app icons. - We've fixed a bug sometimes preventing AWS GovCloud clusters from being imported. - We've fixed a bug sometimes unnecessarily emptying list views before refreshing them. New in 1.5.4: - We've improved the reliability of the Prometheus client and the list view reloading behavior. - We've worked around a bug causing the edit mode of lists and tables to sometimes not work properly on iOS and iPadOS 18. - We've fixed a bug causing the app window to sometimes unexpectedly disappear when attempting to "close other tabs" on macOS.

Helm support and a new text editor! - You can now view Helm releases installed in your cluster, upgrade and rollback existing releases, search custom Helm repositories for charts and install them, edit the configuration values of installed charts, and much more. - We've replaced the text editor with a more performant one based on TextKit 2, now also supporting line numbers and a minimap. In a future update, you'll be able to install your own custom themes for the text editor, terminal, and log view. - Inline text editors like on config maps or secrets can now be maximized into fullscreen mode. - The fullscreen text editor now has a menu for tweaking its settings without leaving the editor. - Config map and secret values can now be edited right from their detail views, including base64-encoding. - The sort order of the port forwarding list can now be customized. - We've improved the stability of access token refreshes of third party cloud providers. - We've fixed a bug causing the base64 encoding on secret detail views to sometimes not work. - We've fixed a performance regression when having multiple large text buffers rendered as inline text editors in the same view. In that case, we're now showing a placeholder with the option to open the large buffer in a separate editor. - We've fixed a bug causing the Nautik Pro banner to sometimes show on macOS when opening new tabs, even when a user already had Pro.

Reviews of Nautik for Kubernetes

Needs more auth support

It’s great that we can specify different authentication methods for clusters, but the app isn’t currently usable for configurations that use authentication apps like StrongDM or Teleport.

A really nice k8s management interface

I really like Nautik, I’ve been using it for a while now and it’s fast, intuitive, and has good feature support for a relatively new app.

Unfortunately I’m currently prevented from using it because there is no generic OIDC support, it would be really nice to see that implemented at some point (and I won’t take any stars away because I understand that’s more of a me problem)

Brilliant app!

I never usually leave reviews but this app hits almost everything I need in a management UI! All that is really missing right now is Helm management and Secrets editing with auto encoding currently you have to decode edit in a different editor then come back and base64encode it.

This is the closest app to the likes of Lens on Desktop.

Honestly well done to the developer making this a reality!
