A decent app when it’s working
The app would usually work jus fine for me me but then I got a new phone and since I haven’t been able to connect to my scooter in the app. I can’t even unlock my scooter to use it. It’s like the app isn't allowing me to do so. How do I fix this issue ?Taedub

I’ve been a loyal customer of unagi since the beginning, and they’ve gotten steadily worse the more popular they become.
Spending $160 a month on two broken scooters is more than I care to throw away, and hopefully this warning will help someone else save some money.
The scooters rarely connect properly to the app, and I’d they do, one or both scooter is almost gauranteed to break within a couple weeks. We use our scooters responsibly and take care of them, and I’m once again fighting with unagi for sending ANOTHER replacement scooter after the last replacement broke after 2 weeks.
Go with literally anyone else or even save your money here and Uber. At least then you’ll get where you’re going.Odienne

Locked scooter for life
Bought (not rent) my scooter and asked to Checkin every month (why? Who knows). Despite checking in the counter wouldn’t reset and now I am permanently locked out of my scooter. Tried everything from hard reset to reinstalling the app, but nothing is happening. Scooter may look nice but they really need to step up their app development. I got locked out of my scooter in the middle of nowhere and had the haul the thing for miles. When you BUY something, it should always work and with these check-ins that don’t work, you are basically locked out of your own product.Vixus

Model one voyager doesnt go true 20 mph
I got the voyager for the speed and for the 25 mile advertised range. This doesn’t achieve neither. The app also doesn’t let me scroll down all the way when I am on the settings screen. The scooter can only achieve 19 mph and thats if its even in real good conditions . This doesn’t feel like 1000 watts all together either because the initial acceleration is also very slow . And for a place like Chicago it makes it almost dangerous. The range only does 10 miles and that’s barley. The scooter needs a parallel xt 60 connector and hole cut out for it to be connected to extention cable to be connected to external batteries for more range too. Thats the only way u can call this scooter cool is by doing that little mod and even then it doesn’t make up for the fact being what this thing can barely even doIphoneuser762
