Such a Unique & Incredible Art App
I’m so glad I found this app. The insanely high resolution of your art you create in this and export is amazing, truly amazing I think. I don’t quite get how or why the higher resolution version that I can save looks different from the lower resolution one in terms of the colors in my drawing. The highest resolution export seems so much darker to me. But, still, I was able to create such cool artwork using this app. Plus, even the lower tier resolution that I can export is still pretty darn high and makes my created artwork look perfect when saved I’ve found.
The tools are many, varied and really high quality I thought. The User Interface was a breeze and joy to use in my opinion. Plus, I just love and appreciate using the grayscale color palette so very much. That’s always my favorite to draw in really :P.
If you’re an artist already, want to become one or just really like being creative and drawing in a top notch art app. Well, I highly recommend, 1BitPencil. Using this app with my Apple Pencil, even on my somewhat older iPad has been a joy and a blast if I’m honest. Taking time away from creating artwork in the app to leave this review is the only challenge the app has given me, hehehe.
If I could just get my exported work in the insanely and awesomely high resolution offered here. To look exactly like it does on the screen when I’m drawing it. Well, I’d be 3 or 4 times as thrilled with this app than I am already. I think I’m just slow honestly in understanding the way the higher export resolution works and should probably email the developer to get more information :D. I’ll probably do that soon.
There were zero reviews for 1BitPencil when I bought the application. In fact, as of the time of me writing this review there are still currently zero reviews. But, I have to say that I’m so glad I took the chance to buy this app just going off of the great description provided and just how rad I thought the app looked in the promo shots here. I plan to use this app forever if I can to create new, seriously high definition/resolution and just the normal bonkers artwork that I create, haha.
I highly recommend this app to other artists, creatives and really anyone at all who loves to or wants to draw and create artwork.
I want to extend a huge amount of thanks and praise to the developer of this application for creating and offering one the coolest and most exciting drawing/artwork applications that I’ve had on my iPad in forever. And if you wouldn’t mind providing a bit more clarification on the differences in how the highest resolution exports look compared to how my art looks on the screen before I export using that rad and insanely high definition option. Well, I would be really grateful for that help please, thank you.
And just thanks, again so much, for giving us this wonderfully unique and powerful drawing to use and God bless you and yours. I’m a lifelong fan of this app/developer now and most definitely anything else you might offer in the future. Addendum: I’ll have to email and share with you the crazy looking bee drawing I created with this app the other day, haha :D. This app has reignited my imagination, thank you for that!

マニュアルがわかりづらい
公式のマニュアルがマニュアルになっていない。
特にトレースボックスはあの説明ではわかりません。自分で試行錯誤しながら理解するしかないんだろうけど、これでは利用者は増えないでしょう。

どうか、旧擦りブラシをバリエーションとして復活して頂けないでしょうか。リアルな土や水を描写する時とても気に入っていました、よろしくお願いします🙇

個人的にはアンドゥ・リドゥをオンオフ切り替えできるのが、アナログに近づけられてとてもありがたい！！
描き心地もスラスラかけて違和感なし！
少しだけ使って気になった点は
・消しゴムやブラシの大きさを調整する時、数字だけだとわかりにくいので、丸カーソルなどなんらかの形で確認したい
・ツールバーは現在上にあるけど、固定されていると邪魔な時があるのでバーごと移動できるようになると嬉しい
・手のひらアイコンを押して拡大縮小やアンドゥ・リドゥをオフにできるのが、アナログっぽく描けてとってもいいけど、拡大縮小機能は使いたいときがある。アンドゥリドゥ無し・拡大縮小ありにも切り替えできると嬉しい
これからも愛用したいのでもっともっと使いやすくなってほしい！いいアプリ作ってくれてありがとうございます(^o^)

漫画を描く身としては1bit（二値）が一番好みのデジタル絵
良かった点
・古いipad第六世代でもちゃんと動く。
・1bitで描く鉛筆は滑らかでアナログ感が上手く出ている
・トーンペンは便利で非常に使い易い
・全画面表示ボタンがちゃんとある
気になった点（というか分からなかっただけかも）
・キャンパスを動かす際に、指一本での移動、回転の禁止をオプションに入れて欲しい。自分は拡大縮小を頻繁に使うのでその方が使い易いけど、指一本はこすりの動作と競合しちゃうから無理なのかな。
・試しに大量に作った新規フォルダを削除できない
・トレースボックスとその上の謎のアイコンの使い方がよく分からない。使い方を一から説明したマニュアルが欲しい。

アプリが開かない
第3世代iPad Airにて使用しています。アイコンに対してどういう機能があるのか、どう使うのかが直感的にUIが理解しづらいなぁと感じました。また、ダウンロードしたばかりですがアプリを起動すると真っ白な画面になり、数秒後落ちるのでまともに使えていません。何度開いてもこうなのですが、アプリ側の問題なのか端末の問題なのかどちらでしょうか。
鉛筆の書きごこちは大変良いです
鉛筆感があり、とても手触りが良いです。マニュアルも親切で大変良い感じで、画像サイズが軽いのもお気に入りです。が、先日突然全データが表示されなくなり、新規描画も出来なくなりました。iCloudが使えない状況下で起きる不具合だと思われます。オフラインで使うことがままあるので、不具合が改善されることを祈っております。
とても気持ち良い描き心地です！
鉛筆の硬さごとの描き心地の違いが感じられて、使っていて楽しいアプリです！ 特に5B以降の柔らかい鉛筆は、筆圧と傾きの感度を高区すると、画用紙にねっとり黒鉛がつく感じが本物の紙と鉛筆のようで綺麗です！！ リアルさだけでなく、投げ縄塗りツールを使った表現は、アナログの紙の鉛筆とも違うテクスチャが作れるので、とても良いなーと思います。
これが1bit での表現というのが驚き&汎用性が高くて後で加工する素材作りにも役立つのでありがたいです。
リリース当初に使った時はレイヤー切り替えなどをせっかちに行うとフリーズしたり落ちたりということもありましたが、アプデを重ねてくださったおかげで、今では描くことに集中できるようになっているとおもいます。ありがとうございます。
欲張りですが、今後こういう機能が追加されたり調整が入ったら嬉しいなーと思った点
機能面→ブラシや消しゴムのもう一段下層の項目(投げ縄塗り、擦り、練りゴムみたいな)にショートカットキーやジェスチャーナビゲーション的な、アクセスしやすい機能があったらなーと思います。自分が結構こまめに行き来するので、切り替えでいちいち画面上部にペンを動かさなきゃ行けないのが面倒くさく感じました。
調整面→範囲選択をしたあとに変形や移動をするときに当たり判定がシビアで、変形したくてポイントをタップしたり、回転したくてアイコンをタップしたつもりが選択解除になってしまうことが多い気がしたので、どうにか解決されたらもっと快適になるかなと思いました。
長々とすみません。
でも総合的にはとても良かったです！！ 素敵なアプリをリリースしてくださりありがとうございました。

描写の細かさは謳い文句通りだが、課題も多い
一番気になるのは弱い筆圧にたいする描写力が低い。（筆圧弱とゼロを判別する閾値が高いのか？弱い筆圧だと描写されづらい時が多い）
スッキリしたUIは好印象。筆圧問題さえ改善されれば素描だけ行うならクリスタから置き換わるかもしれない

リアルな描きごこちにはまだまだ足りないと感じました。
・練りゴムで消える量が多すぎる。練りゴムで軽くおさえたときのように、ふんわり薄く消したい。
・鉛筆の線が重ね書きできない。グラデーションを表現するのに向いていない。

スマートジェスチャーが欲しい
例えば2本指のタップで一つ戻る、3本指のタップで一つ進む のショートカットが欲しい。それがないのがこの素晴らしいアプリを台無しにしています。
