App Don’t Work
Despite in my zip or city info it’s still saying my state doesn’t have any resources to call 211. When I clicked on food pantries it only gave had info about government shutdown and some other nonsense! Quickly uninstalled!!!

You set the location, and everything goes default to South Dakota? Complete garbage why ask my location if you’re just gonna search SD?

This app is so helpful! — Is what I would say if I lived in South Dakota. I typed in my zip code (I live in the PNW area) and I was only able to view resources for people who live in South Dakota.

I was genuinely bummed out when I began checking out the references, confused more than anything though because at the top of the screen it said, “Los Angeles,” but that’s because it asked for my location upon the first time opening the app. Not sure why there wasn’t an error when it recognized I wasn’t in SD. Appears to be a great app though.

Good if you are in Sioux Falls maybe
I entered my city and zip code and I see the City at the top of the page, but all of the results are in Sioux Falls. I am in Salem Oregon. That’s a bit of a drive. I know there are food pantries in Salem.
Zip Code linked to wrong location
Entered a small town Iowa zip and the app correctly identified the town in the south east portion of the state. However all the resources are located in the Pierre or Sioux Fall, SD area (not even close to same zip). Not helpful, I’ll delete and dial instead.
211 Helpline App is for South Dakota Residents
The title says it all. This specific app is geared toward the residence of South Dakota, though you can use your current location (outside of SD) to search for resources but the results may be limited. Your best option is to use the 2-1-1 Locator website to find your local 211. The locator will list the phone number and give you a link to the website where you can find resources for your location. 211 is international, supported by United Way and has a wide variety of resources.

I have been homeless for 10 months now and chased down every lead. The last two times I have called they said a supervisor would reach out to me and I have not received a single call. Not much help. I do a search on the app and nothing comes up in the results.
Not a California App
It says Los Angeles on the App yet this app is only for South Dakota residents. Please change it to that so that people from CA Los Angeles cannot waste their time.
