Unusable

Crashes the moment I hit start.

Stopped working

App was great! Loved it! It helped me achieve 1000s of pushups. Somewhere along the line it started malfunctioning and now as soon as I try to start a workout the app just closes out & shuts down. Extremely annoying to the point I can’t even use the app anymore. Loved the app but now just disappointed.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience! I downloaded this app today and purchased a sound for pushups. The payment was deducted from my Apple account, but I still can’t use the sound—it keeps asking me to pay again. On top of that, when I tried to contact the help center, the app just froze. Total scam and a waste of money. Avoid this app at all costs!

FAQ

What does the 22 Pushups app do?

The app guides users through a 22-day pushup challenge, aiming to improve physical fitness and raise awareness for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It automatically counts your pushups, offers motivational coaching, and allows you to share your progress and challenge friends.

How does the automatic counting feature work?

You place your phone below your chest, and the app uses its sensors to detect your pushups and count them automatically. This eliminates the need for manual counting and keeps a record of your daily performance.

Is this app free to use?

The app is free to download and use, but it does offer in-app purchases. These may include additional coaching voices or advanced features, allowing users to customize their experience.

What kind of pushup modes are available?

The app caters to various fitness levels. It includes a coaching program for beginners to build up strength, as well as different workout modes for advanced users such as 'pushup for time', 'as many reps as possible', and 'interval training'.

How does this app help raise awareness for PTSD?

The challenge encourages users to complete 22 pushups daily for 22 days. By sharing their progress on social media and tagging friends, users help spread awareness about the estimated 22 servicemen and women who commit suicide daily due to PTSD.
