Good way to meet people

The options for experiences are varied, and you get both a small group experience as well as a large group activity

BEST way to meet friends + dates

Amazing curation of people and events. They match you with like-minded people for dinners and activities. 100% much more enjoyable and effective than any dating app or speed dating experience. If you’re looking to make new friends and are also hoping to meet someone special download and use! It’s worth the time to fill out the surveys and questionnaires because they truly do match you with people with similar interests.

AMAZING EVENTS + GREAT PPL

Overall always had a great time at a 222 event. The people aren’t weirdos and the events are always fun. Love the app

Repeatedly turned down

I tried this for a month went to my first event and after that repeatedly RSVPed to other events early and then got told the event was the day before the event that the event was full. Not sure what is going on there, but definitely isn’t worth the money to be rejected over and over. I am better off just chatting people in real life than counting on this to give me social experiences.

Terrible

A month later and my application is still in process! Unbelievable!

Cool Way To Meet

I think it's a fun way to meet new people instead of just going out to bars or meeting completely random people. The events seem to be picking up with more variety which is good too

Don’t miss out!

Such a fun way to experience the city and meet new people

Best. App. Ever.

I absolutely adore this app so much

Found my people!

I would honestly say it’s worth the $22 after my first experience. I got out with a really great group of people. Everyone was very open minded and committed to talking to everyone in the group. Never an awkward moment! You get exactly what you pay for. :) I’d totally do it again.

I rarely leave reviews

I rarely take the time to right a review- good or bad. But I have been enjoying 222 a lot so I have to say to anyone who’s considering it- go for it. I recently went through a breakup so I have a lot more time on my hands than before. My existing friends still have the same schedule so I can only fill that downtime with them so much. 222 has brought me to some great places and I’ve met a lot of cool people. Not only that- even though it asks a million questions, I think all of that info does a good job finding matches. Beyond that- you can customize your algorithm to meet more people who share specific traits, values or interests and the app truly does respond to your preferences. There’s also something so dynamic about even the people that weren’t your original match. When all of the tables converge, it’s like we’re all here on the same adventure and have a shared mindset. People are open and easier to connect with. I’ve done 4 so we will see if any of these connections end up being long term but I can definitely see that happening and hope it does Very fun and interesting experience. I also like the format of subscription. I guess before it was pay per event which would add up.

222 Unabashedly Treats Certain People Like They’re “Lesser Quality”

UPDATE: I contemplated rejoining 222 after I got a text inviting me to renew my subscription. Went to check the app, and didn’t have any invites. So they asked me to renew without offering any invites to attend. They couldn’t manage an app to save their life.

ORIGINAL: Was told by 222 in November I’m guaranteed to attend one event a month. Tonight, they walked back on it, and rejected me for 3 in a row with none other scheduled, and lied when called out on it.

Doesn’t matter if you’ve attended 40 222 events. They will reject you. When called out on this, they said they pride themselves on creating “high quality experiences.” Which translates to those they reject as being “lesser quality.” So if you want an app to tell you that they don’t deem you worthy enough to attend their events, sign up for 222 today. :)

Impressive curation of epic community and genuine connection

I have heard about 222 for awhile and truly grateful I took the leap today to try my first experience in SF after recently moving from NYC. Had an amazing lunch with great group of women and then met larger 222 group to paint at the palace of fine arts. Beautiful day and met such cool people I’m excited to try more events!

It’s OK if you’re actually approved for events

They have a good collection of events. It’s a good way to meet people and try out different things in and around your city. The only issue is they try to Taylor people based off interest in alignment and a lot of times if you’re a male you general get accepted or approved for events. The Wright mix isn’t there. I find myself not getting accepted for events and I’m assuming. It could be for that reason. Also if I don’t get approved for events, but I’m not old about it.
Until the day of now I just effectively wasted an evening where I could’ve otherwise

10/10

Highly recommend if you want to make connections and meet new people at new places!

Great people, great times

Can’t recommend 222 enough. Love the curation and the people you meet are fun and super down to hang. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Awesome app

Big fan of the concept and the community building this app is able to accomplish

Cash grab

Took my money with ease, and I just ended up on waitlists for nothing. Cancelled after a month not having gone to a single event. Don’t waste your money

Awful - safety issue

The app hardly curates any people of mutual interests even when you attend multiple event. To add insult to injury, as a woman, they do not notify you if they place you in an all male group or if all the other females do not show up. You’re left to show up to find out in person and it’s very uncomfortable as a woman (as a female in general but especially as a woman in a relationship seeking female relationships). It’s been a sausage fest each time and they don’t care to look out for safety of women. The bare minimum would be communication and they fail to do this. This has happened multiple times now and it’s unacceptable

Great way to make new friends when moving to a new city

Great concept that’s been executed really well

Super Disorganized, not worth $60 at all

The app and the dates/times that you’re texted are not the same? So i missed the paintball session, showed up for dinner(the texted address for dinner was DIFFERENT than the name of the restaurant). Showed up for the reservation and im just here solo. What a waste of time, money, and gas

Update: now they are charging me an extra $22 for being a no call no show despite literally having proof of contacting them multiple times because i was at the event and NO ONE SHOWED UP AFTER 30 MINUTES.I now filed a dispute with my bank and had to cancel my card. TOTAL SCAM.
