Shuts down too much
Nothing like choosing the best 20 pics in a camera roll to then have the app blink off. Aunties complain it happens to them when trying to comment. Isn’t that the whole purpose of this app? Customer service is back and forth and ultimately useless. I have a paid subscription, also.
Great little apps for sharing photos with grandparents
We enjoy sharing our children photos with grandparents in overseas without compromising privacy. I stopped using Facebook. Highly recommended!
Best for privacy and family
We’ve used 23snaps for approximately 10 years. Email digests to friends and family stand out. No need or risk of sharing anything publicly on a social media service just to get photo updates to your closest family and friends. No need to do tech support for older family members to learn how to use an app. We use the app regularly ourselves to find older photos from trips using the Collections feature.

Great but question video quality & order
Great app however pls ensure the photos are uploaded in the order I select them. Also the video quality for premium member has never looked like high quality - always blurrier than what it appears in my phone album.
Was great until it wasn’t
I have used this app to share photos of our son with family and close friends for 9 years. It worked great at the beginning and was free. It then became a paid monthly subscription but I kept going with it because it was a convenient way to share photos to a small select group and I had everyone set up on it. It has had kinks along the way with uploading in the past but they typically get resolved. I have been trying to upload photos for over 2 weeks with the app quitting on me every time and never fully processing. I reached out to customer service, they have followed up and requested additional info which I provided but there has not been a fix, offer of a credit or any other follow up. I would suggest looking at alternative photo sharing options.

Frustrating
We’ve had this app for years, and it took some time to get all family etc on board, but been a great option to have a closed network. However a consistent problem has been they dont allow stories or posts to save as drafts, and I’d say 1/ 4 times you spend time on a post and then it just disappears! Very frustrating.

Love seeing pics and videos of my kids and grandson that live far away
As grandparents, we love this!
As many pics as you want to send of our grandchildren, we will enjoy them all. A secure way for parents to do this. We love it!
They don’t prevent login sharing so anyone can share their login info
The concept is great, and this is one of the better ones I’ve seen. However, they don’t stop people from sharing login credentials, so people can just share that with anyone else and then the whole thing is just kind of not worth it.
The good being that they don’t sell your info (at least that’s what they say), and they make sharing images between family easy.
Only other gripe I have is I do wish there was a way to have a title for each shared collective of images instead of only allowing a caption for each individual image.

great.. most of the time
I started using this app 6 years ago when all the features were free and I loved being able to share every picture with family. As the years have passed most posting features are behind a paywall, and because all my pictures were already on the app I didn’t want to change to a different platform. The app runs well most of them time however when I want to post a video it often crashes..

Glitchy App - No Fix
The app has been glitchy for a month now, not allowing me to actually click the “done” button and post photos. I’ve tried contacting support and nothing has been fixed. I cancelled my subscription so I wasn’t wasting money on an unusable app. :(
All useful features are now paid
This app had already basically been abandoned. Attempting to monetize it by locking every basic feature behind a paid subscription while rolling out zero new features is nothing short of betrayal. Shame on you. Avoid this classless company at all costs.
No favourites folder?
Previous to the recent update, you could see your favourites folder as an album option when importing photos. Now it’s gone

Just the best for child photos. No need for over sharing on social media - all the family can enjoy this way
Freezes
All my other apps are working just perfectly fine. When I open 23 Snaps, it shows the start page and then I touch on the first picture and it displays that picture then freezes. Can’t do anything else. Must swipe up to shutdown. (iPhone 14 Pro with 18.3.1)
Love this app but recent update is buggy
This app is awesome. It’s basically my journal of my kiddo & it’s private. I pay a subscription to use it. Lately tho, I select photos to upload & it freezes the app. I have to reselect them & go again. Usually works the second time. If you have a lot of photos tho, it’s frustrating.
Brilliant App
Have been using this app for 4 years now and it is brilliant. Great for sharing photos and videos with a select audience of close family and friends.
Favorite family photo app
23snaps have been our go-to family app for last 10 years. It’s one safe, dedicated place for all our family photos and videos. Friends and family members can see the latest updates of our kids away from the clutter of social media. It’s familiar and easy to use even for less tech savvy grandparents.

Was great until it wasn’t
I used this app to share photos with family. I even upgraded to the paid premium. It suddenly stopped working, unable to upload photos which is the whole point of the app. I’ve emailed support 3 times, the only way to get in touch and received no response. I never had a problem until now but very disappointed. I’ll be canceling and looking for an alternative if I don’t hear back in the next couple days.

I had this app years ago it was called the journal I wrote loads down all my memories and had lots of pictures of my memories then one day I tried going back into it and lost everything all my memories I put in there had gone I’m tryna find a way of getting it all back
