A blessing!
This app has so many amazing features! You have the ability to share on the many different social media platforms and save and copy to how you store your information. There are endless bible plans and studies as well as the daily inspiration on the home page. You can download heaps of different bible versions and most of the versions are available in audio mode. One improvement would be the ability to highlight only what jumps out at you. Currently the highlight function works as a big block and when you know God has spoken to you it gets lost in the big picture. Well done to the developers who have made the Word of God accessible to anyone AND it is free! God richly reward all involved!

Every Bible study tool I need
When the Lord had reawakened my faith I couldn’t afford to buy a bible, so I tried searching for a free version and was so encouraged and grateful to find the youversion bible app. Not only is it access to any version of the Bible I could want, but the verse of the day is so encouraging as is guided prayer to keep me praying and close to God every day. The plans are a wonderful way to help me understand the books of the Bible, and I especially love the access to multiple versions of the Bible right at my fingertips. When I’m having trouble understanding a particular verse, chapter or book the option to easily study two versions side by side (just turn my phone to landscape, tap the upper right to select side by side icon and choose from upper left drop down menu for which second version I want) helps me learn and understand so much more. Thank you, YouVersion, for a truly free Bible app that offers every bible study tool and prayer encouragement I could ever want. More recently I found the option to connect with YouVersion brothers & sisters in Christ, and we encourage each other through reading various plans together and having the option to share our thoughts on the comments page at the end of each day’s reading. This has made it so I look forward even more to reading and learning from various plans each day and given me a sense of community with other believers. YouVersion is a great resource that I look forward to using each day!

Oh man, I love Jesus so much like he’s helped me so much, I cannot remember the amount of times he’s saved me. When I was at my lowest Jesus was there waiting for me with open arms and I’m so grateful he had shown me the love I needed. If you are reading this God loves you so much. Even if you think you’ve sinned or done bad, or even if you don’t feel worthy for his praise. God will always welcome you with open arms and he will love you the same he did for me. He loves you so much he died on the cross you Your🫵 SINS! Do you know how much pain he went through for you. He loved this world so much that God sent his only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for your sins. So please don’t let him down and in Jesus’s name we pray, amen. 🙏 ✝️❤️❤️

No more excuses 😁🥰
I hardly ever read the bible, maybe a verse here and there, never a full chapter! But now, I’m reading not only most days, but several times a day. I love the highlighting feature and audio!! Now I have no excuses that I can use for not reading or hearing the scriptures😁 I always found it hard to read the bible in my busy life, but I could fit in a couple of tv programs to watch or play some games on my phone, or scroll through social media 🤦♀️😊 Yes I was like that, but now I read the bible everyday, somedays a verse, in the last few weeks it’s been several chapters everyday. I love it!! You just need to start by getting the app, read the verse of the day everyday and soon you will be reading and listening to Gods Word without any struggle at all, even while your sleeping you can have the bible read to you. ❤️

Latest update is buggy!
Hello! I have just updated and I don’t like what has happened to your wonderful app! I use an iPad, and think the interface isn’t as seamless as it was. Pressing on verses to view my notes is v slow to react, and my saved comments don’t come up applying to the right verse. Instead, I get a list of ALL my comments - not useful!!
I don’t like the way the verse number now has a dark square around it, if there is highlighting, as this takes away from the flow of the verses when one reads. You have made the little note icons bigger: why? It just interrupts the flow of the Bible!
Finally, for iPad users, it has always been impossible to know when I have written a note on a particular verse. I have talked with one of your experts and he couldn’t find a way either! My only solution is to colour my verses with notes in a particular shade (love your colour choices!) so that I know to look for a note. If you are going to make the little note sign bigger, perhaps you could introduce a similar icon for ‘own note’?
I LOVE the BibleApp generally, but I do hope you fix these problems.

A Blessing
I cross reference often...it would be great if the scripture reference would go the suggested verses and return to the verse I began with. I have been having error problems when I note or highlight too. However. It's a joy to have the scripture wherever we go...as a couple we end our day together listening to the Word....A blessing. I wish searching for scripture was more defined however, many times I give up and go to my concordance because the application doesn't find the scripture I'm hunting. Still, we PTL for this App. Appreciate and Thank you for the making the Word available to the public...it never returns to Him void. Use the Word daily...depending on The Truth that’s connected directly to The Throne of Grace. Continue to use on a daily basis...it’s more than a valuable source. Blessings to all involved in the ministry of His Word. I just discovered that this app. Now has the tool of cross referencing and returning to the original text! I have been using two iPads in order to expedite searching the word. What a blessing! Thank you Sorry that the cross referencing that I really liked didn’t work out…truth is, I liked it much better than what you’ve developed now. History helps, but the drop down was great. However, I remain grateful for the pleasure of all the features you offer. Studying the Word and the depth God’s supernatural direction, in unveiling new hidden truth, as the Spirit brings new inspiration and revelation. Blessings to all❣️

Uniqueness of the Scriptures.
Today I can read many stories and informations on line that mostly trouble you and leave you confused. But when I read the Bible it gives me peace and certainty in life. Another experience of mine that makes me highly rates the Bible app is,God always come to me in my readings and show new truths that I have not seen before. Let me affirm this,read the scriptures you may find the lost garden of Eden( God and Man converses with each other) The Depth of the Word of God is like the Ocean. Meaning the same text I can read 100 times and yet the illumination of the word reveals new truths from the same text. It is not the Bible I am rating, its the app God’s word is perfect that’s the unquestionably rating. Walking with God hearing the Holy Spirit talking through the pages of the scriptures and your hearts bow in Worship to Jesus Christ the LORD of Lords and KING of Kings. Heaven on earth - God’s WILL on Earth . The Bible is God’s word to people on earth to Obey or disobey Him . To disobey meaning we miss the opportunity for God to walk with us on earth Obedience on the other hand we witness God’s grace and Love daily in our lives so we can bear witness to others God’s goodness. Always Nice to have access to the Word of God where ever you go!! Distractions have become so natural! & it’s always nice to be able to recenter with the help of the Word of God where ever you go. ☺️ I also love how every version is available and accessible on this App for example King James, Amplified, New World Version, No matter what version of the Bible your use to 📖 reading you will find it here! 🫶🏻 I also Love how you can connect to social media’s like Facebook and invite your friends to study. Me and My friend have been using this app to draw closer to God ☺️🫶🏻 And each other and have him as the connection between all of us 🫶🏻. my friends actually introduced me to the App!
