Reviews of Solebon Solitaire

  • This app is the GOAT of solo card game apps.

Solebon Solitaire is one of the longest continuously-running apps on the App Store, and it continues to receive regular updates. But it never strays from the core experience of solo card games. It's got plenty of variety to provide hours upon hours of enjoyment. The updates are infrequent yet useful, and there are plenty of advanced options in the app for those who want to tweak the user experience and the interface.

I applaud the developer for continuing work on it, and never charging a subscription. As someone who once paid for the app years ago, you have my deepest respect, and my unending support.

    Cheers.
  • Fantastic selection of games for every mood

UPDATE: Five years later, and I still love this app.
Still lots of choices, and I have lots of favorites.
Best solitary games out there, but now I have one more thing to add. Support is phenomenal and caring.
Couldn’t solve a Single Rail yesterday, so I resorted to the video on how to win. There was some mixed up stuff that I knew was wrong, so I sent an email with a screen recording. Within a few hours, I got an email back apologizing because the writer had thought that they had taken care of that issue. I could tell from the tone of the email that the writer was not only aware and informed, but also concerned. The writer also assured me that the game was winnable. With that newfound confidence, I eventually solved it.
    Like solitaire? Look no further.

I’ve been a solitaire player since college and now, 50 years later, I’m still playing whenever I need a moment of relaxing and unwinding. There are 50 games to choose from, but right now I’m hooked on Single Rail. With all the solitaire games out there, this one stands out with variety, app updates, and great support. Worth every second of play.

Some of the games are not set up well. I would suggest more testing As an example Monte Carlo- the “reshuffle” function is very poor. The only changes is cards next to any holes are moved over. Which means toward the end there is often no ability for further play as there are no more options. If at the point there are no more options instead of a reshuffle why not declare the game lost. It is beyond frustrating.
