Sad all
Browsing is tedious at best, can’t edit or create playlists, no landscape mode to actually see the title of the now playing , can’t be an airplay receiver to just stream to your phone, doesn’t use the iPhone lock screen “now playing” so you always have to open the app, no lock screen widget, does not work on older iOS like itouch4 so we can recycle those useless devices in remotes

Great app apart from the bugs... maybe just great now?
Update: Cautiously optimistic as the option to add libraries (now ‘add a media library’) seems fixed in the latest update! Thank you Apple :)
This has always been a really useful app. Whether using an old Mac with iTunes or a Linux daapd server to host your library, Remote has a nice, streamlined interface and is simple to use. Unfortunately there are some glaring bugs (especially around adding libraries, which works fine on the first setup but not when choosing “Add an iTunes Library”). It would be great if Apple gave this app some tlc. Unfortunately they seem to be putting all their focus on the subscription Apple Music and abandoning those who’ve built up local collections of music.

Great App - Volume functionality for direct AppleTV usage??
I love the concept of the app, however some functionality that I would presume to be very straight forward.. Is not available when using on AppleTV 4th Gen - volume for example? I can switch songs and view 'Now Playing' but have no opportunity to change the volume?? Or, in particular apps the touch function does not work - at all. Maybe this is because I still have my AppleTV remote connected anyway, or even that my iPhone5s doesn't have force touch - But Apple being Apple, I would presume there would be an alternate solution for this? It would be great if I was able to view my Apple Music account, similar to the screenshots advertising this app, but I'm presuming those screen shots are controlling alternate devices rather than AppleTV..? Hopefully in the next release Apple can fix some of these things up. :) Otherwise, very useful app. But as it stands, if Remote Mouse brought out an AppleTV companion app.. Their functionality is definitely closer to what I would have expected to come out of an apple app.. I would definitely choose their app over this one.

Really love this app. So smart and I can do basically everything with it (including the art of scaring my brother and sister)
Love it and I hope apple make an actual stereo system this is compatible with it but that probably won't happen because there is already the airport express and extreme.
First time i tried to use it it made my pc freeze and stopped home sharing on my iPad but now that I have reinstalled it it works like a dream.

Trippy!!
Very cool application! Had so much fun walking on in my house and just chose a song from my ipod touch and it plays in my house. We do have some very good ipod touch speakers, however the remote to this system is a tad touchy, you have to directly in front of the system. With this application I can just walk around the house and chose want songs I want to listen to on my computer, it ROCKS!! You gotta get this app, you will have fun too!

Best App on the Store..
If you use iTunes or an AppleTV, this is the best accessory you can get for them. And it's free! You need some kind of wireless on your network to control them, but IMHO it's worth the cost of a wireless router, "Remote" is just that good. I love how I can be lying on my bed on the other side of the room, and if I think the music is too loud, or I don't like that track, I can fix it right there. I don't have to get up, or even get in line-of-sight for some crappy infra-red remote. It just works. ..unbelievably easy setup, and hard to do without once you have it. :) (I hear you can even use the iPhone keyboard on AppleTV's. Wicked.)
