I would love to see it updated
I have used this app daily since its release. I just realised there is a little graphical glitch when using it on my iPad mini (the up next list does not display the ‘clear’ option very well any more) and I thought maybe it just needs an update. Only now do I realise that it hasn’t been updated by apple for 4 years so I guess it’s been forgotten which makes me sad since I am still planning on using it indefinitely. Come on Apple, make this customer happy! Surprise and delight me!

Useless?!
I don't see the point of this app at all. I wanted it to control my apple tv device and apple music but am having no luck in accomplishing this.
Needs to add star ratings
This is almost exactly what I need. I can see and control the currently playing music on my Mac on a separate screen/device that’s off to the side of my desk with simple taps. The only thing that’s missing is the ability to change the star ratings and toggle favourites. There’s so much available screen real estate that it’s a bit surprising it’s not there.

Stream My Music
I’ve ripped all of my CDs, and neighbors’ as well, onto a an external drive attached to my Mac Mini M2 at lossless quality. I use the app to stream music from the computer Ito a Bluesound node attached to my stereo. I also access the music files through my two AppleTV devices. I have access to my music pretty much though out my house.
In some cases, I can find the music I listen to more from the only on the CDs. Also, it is easier to manage playlists from Apple Music.

Incompatibilité avec iPhone
L’excellente appli Remote, qui permet de commander à distance la lecture des pièces musicales de la bibliothèque iTunes d’un Mac, ne fonctionne cependant pas sur mon iPhone SE3. Un ami me dit qu’il a le même souci avec son iPhone 13. J’ai communiqué avec le service technique d’Apple à deux reprises à ce sujet, et on m’a répondu que les ingénieurs en logiciel de l’entreprise sont au fait du problème… qui n’est toutefois pas résolu après plusieurs mois ! Connection better to Apple wifi network
A simple but practical app to control an Apple Music library. But in my experience your device needs to connect to a wifi network created by an Apple device (in my case a Time Capsule connected via Ethernet to my router) to work reliably. Connecting directly to my router, the app constantly disconnects from the library; reconnecting often involves toggling the wifi and/or quitting/restarting the app.

Why did they make this bad?
Like the iOS music app you used to be able to queue music and see the queue. Can’t anymore. No album view either. It’s the worst. Especially after I banked all my music in iTunes, now it’s sunk and annoying to use.
