Great for practicing listening

The Koch trainer feature of this app is great, very customizable! There's one weird bug though, whenever it spells "km" (which is common since those are the the first few letters you learn), it reads it out as "kilometers", rather than "km". And if you change the mode to spelling only, it spells it as "K-I-L-O-M-E-T-E-R-S", even more confusingly!

Edit: it seems that changing voices away from the system voice is a workaround for this bug. Hopefully that can still be fixed pretty soon, it's one of the best voice options!

Response from developer

Thank you. I'm sorry about this issue. I cannot reproduce it on my device, but I have noticed that some behavior may be different depending on the voice you have selected. You can try selecting a different voice and see if the problem persists. Note that I explicitly tell the speech to spell the characters (if spelling in ON, or Automatic, using the Koch trainer), but there may be bugs in the iOS speech implementation. You can contact me at contact@pacolabs.com so I can investigate the problem with more input from you.

Great

I can now practice and learn anywhere at any time

Totally worth it if you want to learn CW

Excellent interphase, well thought out. And if you connect it to a key then it’s the most portable way to learn CW on the go.

Thank you.

Finally, a good Morse app.

Title says it all. The App Store is a wasteland of bad Morse learning apps. After an exhaustive search spanning years, this one does it all, and knocks it out of the park. Great value and great design. The additional features are premium but worth it.

Next Version please include Callsigns in the Quiz section choices; ie letters, numbers, Callsigns.

Love all the improvements in the recent Version but I find myself going back and forth between the Morse-It app and the Koch app because the Koch app has a random Callsigns choice and Morse-It does not. Please in the next version include Callsigns in at least the Quiz section; throughout Morse-It app would be great. Letters and numbers are good but the true test is when they are together in Callsigns. Thank You Morse-It for a great app and considering my suggestion. 73 de VA7LTX

Hi, The Quiz, the Koch trainer and the Sending trainer can all be configured to be used with any items you want. You have to select another items list in the configuration screen. You can select one of the existing lists or create your own (for instance one that would contain random callsigns, which is one of the existing variables in the app) Please contact me a contact@pacolabs.com if you need help.

Morse It Teview

One of the few Morse trainers that works on an IPhone.

It also has a good range of options

So thank you.

I’d recommend it.

$11.99 to unlock features

This requires an additional fee to enable most features

Response from developer

Unfortunately, creating and maintaining all these advanced features could not be done without it. If you feel that all the available features (the ones you can see in the screenshots and the AppStore description) and the associated settings are not worth the tiny entry price you paid, you can request a refund from Apple.
