  • Emphesema

I have been smoking for 3 and a half years. Went to the doctor for an allergy shot and found out I had emphysema.
I now have to go for major tests and hope I don't have lung cancer. I have four children , my youngest 3 & 1/2. I left the doctors office and lit a cigarette I continued to smoke the rest of the day until the pack was empty. That was enough for me to stop. I do love the app and it does help. I recommend this app along with other types of support. Do whatever it takes to quit not worth death.......

  • Last updated ruined it

App used to do a fine job of keeping track, but after the last update it's not accurate. To boot, if I go to settings and back without changing anything, the calculation changes! Looking for an app that works to replace those one. Too bad -- Quitter worked for me for 3 years.
  • What happened?

App worked great till last update! Now it doesnt keep track of time or money.
  • Worked better before update

I don't know what happened but now the calculation is wrong- I quit 3/4/10 and it says that today 9/9/11 is exactly 1 year 6 months 0 days. If I change my quit date to 3/9/10 it says that today is 1 year 6 months and 2 days! Obviously a flaw- please fix! (also change the sharing option to allow app to access Facebook and twitter app rather than having to sign in!)

  • Calculation Flaw

This app is visually well made but has a flaw in the way it calculates time difference in months. It seems to take the total number of days and then assumes 29 days is equal to a month. As a result, July 1st - September 1st is calculated as 2 months 3 days which is 3 days over the real difference. Roll the start date back another month and it's over by 5 days. Hopefully they'll fix this issue soon.

  • Thank you

2 months in and I turn this app on every time I feel like I might lapse. Simple and to the point, I love it.
  • One thing missing

Love the app, but I wish there was a way to increase the $ amount as time goes on. When I quit back in 2008, cigs were $6.50 a pack. Now they are $10. Would love to be able to account for the incremental increases in price without trying to average it out. Smoke free for almost 2 years now! Thanks for the motivation!

  • Simple & Motivating...does exactly what it says

I quit smoking 29 days ago and have to say, this app has contributed to my success. One tap and I can see how many days it's been and how much money I've saved. It's that simple. Thank you for creating this one!
  • Nice app

To be honest this app had nothing to do with me quitting. I owe it all to Chantix. However it is very nice reference for when im asked how long it has been. 4 stars for improvement.
  • Simple and to the point

Love it! It has been 2 years, 2 months and 6 days... and I still enjoy checking in from time to time, just to see how much I've saved. Thanks for the encouragement!
