Outstanding application and easy to use!

In using remote control on mobile devices, this is hands-down the best one I've used so far. I can even access my Linux box. I've used old PocketPCs, the Zaurus, and all versions of Windows Mobile phones with all forms of RDC and VNC. The zoom, panning, and keyboard controls are perfectly suited for the iPhone. The app is best suited on a wifi connection. You'll get frustrated over Edge...I don't have the 3G yet so I cannot comment on that experience. If you're familiar with VNC, you'll be very satisfied. It's strange to read any negativity around this product being that it's free. If you don't have a jailbroken phone, this is your only option but they did a great job! For those unfamiliar with VNC, you'll need to install the service in order to access your computer. Go to MochaSoft's website under the FAQs for reference and download links.

Full Version Soon?

From what I've been able to try of the Lite version, this app is what I've spent the last 3 days trying to find and get functioning. I've tried other Browser based VNC methods to no avail. This app was simple to configure, and even easier to use. If only I could use CTRL+ALT+DEL. 32 bit over 3G crashed my iPhone, but worked great over WiFi. 16 bit worked great over 3G (so far). Hope Apple approves the Full Version soon. C'mon Apple!

Great app but some little issues

This app works great and works well but there are some issues that I have found mostley small however these include some small lag issues some times and doses not work with 2 screens but these issues are small issues for a well thought out program also a nice feature that I would like to see in a future revision is bonjour support so that it can pick up leopard screen shearing as this would make it easyer for less knowlageable users

Love it!

Still basic but already brilliant! Vnc on the iPhone: hot. Bring on the new features!

Good, but needs larger desktop support

It's a very nice start. It complains about my work desktop being too large (it's 1920x1200) and that it will "cut" it to 1680x1200, but it always ends up black. However, it works nicely at home with my 1680x1050 desktop. I like that you can move the screen past the edges to get to menus and icons where some of the Mocha controls are. Not everyone would have thought of that. I may purchase the full version when it supports larger desktops. Can't do much work with this, but it's handy for transferring a file or for a few simple operations. The app also crashes a lot--about 50% of my trials, but that might be because of the large desktops.

Almost, but not quite there

Four stars for being the first working VNC client (the only thing I really need on my iPhone that it doesn't come with out of the box), and being free no less, but currently it cannot access the right hand end of a 1920x1200 display (limited to 1680x1200 because of Apple UI scrolling widget limits supposedly), and no multi-monitor support. It really must support at least a full 1920x1200 desktop, even if they have to abandon the sexy scrolling screen. I'd be happy to have a mode that required scrolling in steps or something if it would let me access my whole screen.
