Disappointed

It also did not work for me as promised. Email could not be sent at all as "send"
Button is not enabled. Hope it's a fixable bug as I'd love for this to work but since so many are not recommending this app ( wish I'd read the reviews first) I'll be asking for my money back. Hope they honour that promise.

HOW STUPID OF ME

I read the ONLY review this had saying that the email to text function was rubbish and i still paid for this item. it does say voice to email 30 seconds but that wasnt clear to me that i could only email 30 seconds of a conversation to myself, this has been a total waste of money and time. SERIOUSLY DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, this does just as much as a free one, and i havent heard a thing about the SUPPOSED free $25 software so thats nother blatant deception by this company.I cant igve it No starts as a rating but if I could I WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEWARE!

I could not get this software to convert voice to text on my Ipad as advertised. I could not get the free Windows software that is advertised as my email was returned "no such address". I cannot recommend this app at all.

Missing PC software & Doesn't work

I didn't get the bonus PC software that was included with purchase and when I went to use the app on my iPad it didn't function as advertized

Ripoff

Don't but this, upon buying you will find it crashes instead of sending emails, rendering the program useless. I'm ripped off

Seems good

Does what I want by emailing it to myself without putting ads on subject line or in message body. I'm a bit concerned about manually typing in my own email address but this is only for the first email I sent (it saved it after). Typical plus sign so I can send via a contact or type in. I like this app but what I really wanted was to use it as copy and paste into my iPhone diary. Dragon does that but Dragon quality is spotty at best. Maybe this one is more accurate. In that case it's ok to wait for the email emailed transcription :)
This app seems to work well so far and so far seems more accurate than Dragon (free Dragon doesn't necessarily mean better)

Does what it claims

No idea what the negative people mean.
I sent a voice message by email from my iPad and it was great.
So I sent it as text. The text was exactly what I said, and the voice message was received also.
So I rate it as good value.
(Later)
Well I have used this and tested it, and it works extremely well.
I don't deny that there could be a couple of upgrades with improvements, but I have absolutely no idea why there are so many negative reviews.
And my e-mail to the developers was replied to within one day.
Perhaps the negativists just don't know how to use it.
I recommend it unreservedly.

a missed opportunity

The problem with this application is that one cannot check the text after recording it and before it is sent, to check how the voice translates to text to make sure that no misleading or embarrassing mistakes are made in translation. This is particularly worrying for anyone who has an accent, as more then often one or two words end up meaning something else. I have tested it by sending e-mails to my own address and I personally found out that I couldn’t use it, as I would always be anxious of what message will be delivered. Not a great help. I think it should be clear in the product description to avoid disappointment. It would be much more useful if after recording one could correct eventual mistakes before sending it, like with Dragon.

It

This is a neat app, despite the 30 second message conversion to txt limitation

Essentially that app did what it said it would

Encourage developers to provide better user information for newbies

Don't waste time

Don't buy it. Doesn't work, no documentation and the screens they show don't exist. The 5 star rates is the company.
