What gives guys?

Reading through these reviews nearly put me off buying this app. Luckily I very reasonably assumed that $4 is worth the risk. This thing works! I can switch it on, walk along making notes to myself, pausing the recording in between, then email it to myself and it comes as txt.
Most of the complaints that reviewers mention seem to be because they didn't press the right button - read the instructions if u really have to guys! You CAN select an email address from your contact list to email to and , yes, you can email just the sound file if u hit the button that says ' email recording' - Try the button that instead says 'email recording as text' if u want text.
This app does just exactly what I was looking for and once you've bought it you don't need to pay for the transcription service like some apps. $4 ? I love my iPhone.

Refund?

I should have read the reviews more carefully there is no preview of the email and it does not use your email client so no history and no gaurantee what you are sending is coming out right at the other end It also attaches a copy of the recording so now everybody knows you can't type. Oh yeah and make sure you pre practice your email and don't say ummm. Lastly either the emails don't come through or they take forever and you don't know which it's going to be until it's too late. Definitely not a business app. Any chance I can get a refund?

Ne fonctionne pas en francais

Vraiement décevant...selon Quick voice le truc fonctionne en francais, mais non. Juste en anglais, mais tu le sais après avoir payé. C'est de l'arnaque. Fausse publicité.

Crap. Overpriced. 0 Functionality

Documentation is non-existent because there's nothing to the software. It records your voice. That's it. Even voice to text is limited to 30 seconds. Get Dragon Dictation and a free voice recorder instead

Save your money

Cumbersome , all u can do is record and then send. It will keep no previous address and speed prompt you SAVE YOUR MONEY IMO

Voice 2 txt

Would be alot better if it was longer than 30seconds.

Not Happy

Another person who bought the program to write long E mail, the 30 seconds only means this is a complete wast. Also promised a free decktop version so hoped that would have a decent talk time, can't find how you get it, unless you pay. Not Happy

Rip Off and Junk

Pure junk. Can't see or verify the Accuracy of the text. Have to
Send the email and what ever happen???? My emails never arrived to any address I sent to anyway. This is my only app review ever. Had to write about this total rip off. Don't waste your money.

QuickVoice2Text Pro

A little disapointed to find that you can not preview the email (converted to text from voice recording) before it is sent. The test email I sent from a voice recording got the majority of the message correct apart from the last word which was replaced with a ? It wouldn't be a problem if you have the chance to preview and correct before sending.

Not exactly useful... More like a nice concept for nearly £2

Well, I'm not saying that the concept is bad, but I expected it to perform a bit better... Like not having to wait for the app to convert the speech to text (email is not sent straight away after clicking send), but to have the text appear on screen as i talk, and to be able to make corrections before mailing said text. All these things might come in an update at some stage (I certainly hope so), but till then i have to stay that the app will be staying on my computer in iTunes, cos at this stage is not exactly useful for the purpose i got it for. But sure who cares... The devs have my money now anyways.... I really hope that Apple will do something to get these half *ssed apps off the app store, and maybe come up with some ideas to keep devs like these off the store, cos its only giving the store a bad name.
