Great, but could easily be much better
A beautiful app which has helped me manage Euros while in Spain from Australia. However, the app needs to be smarter about updating exchange rates (not checking at every single launch, for example). It should also allow users to use the previous exchange rates while it updates, rather than blocking them from that section while it works. An option to 'manually manage updates' would also be welcomed.

I like the currency conversion!!!
I had a look at other converters and liked this one because it also does currency conversion. Granted, the number of currencies is not great, but the flexibility of the application makes it attractive. I actually prefer the look of some other applications, but in the end this one wins on functionality. BENEFIT: currrency conversion, TO IMPROVE: number of currencies and units (eg. kitchen measurements would be useful)

It works!
Ok, after vacillating over the numerous converter Appsโ I decided to give this one a try since Iโm on travel in Italy and I needed one now. So far, it appears responsive and includes currency, which is a big plus for any converter. Actually, I was waiting for the widget-style โUnit Converterโ to be offered as it is on the Mac because it has always been easy and accurate. The only down side with the App is that I donโt much care for the way you have to bounce between windows to obtain the converted results.

Grocery Store
I primarily use this tool to convert between Pounds / Kilograms and Ounces / Litres when I'm at a grocery store and confronted with units that don't match my shopping list. In this respect, it is indispensable.
In that respect, having a local application function without web access is critical, as cell reception tends to be spotty in my favourite grocery store.
It should support Power, though I doubt I'd ever use Flow.
There are a few minor UI things that I would like changed, in order of importance:
1. In the Calculator view, when entering the number, the blue display at the top acts like an equals (=) button. It should also act as a Back button when the value is already a singleton (3) instead of a formula (1+2). This would provide a MUCH larger target to hit for the common use case of entering a number and returning to the comparison screen.
2. In the Select Unit view, the units are listed only by their full name (U.S. Fluid Ounces), but also seen by their short form (fl.oz.) elsewhere. I don't know both forms for some of the more exotic units, so it's hard to find them when one only knows the short form. The Select Unit view should show both forms, with the latter right-aligned in the row.
3. In the Calculator view, when entering a formula, the blue display shows the entered values and operator (1+2). It would be very nice to enter an entire formula (eg: 1+2+3 Kg) and compute it all at once.

First couple versions were a bit shaky but now it works great
When I installed the latest version I was having problems getting the currencies to download so I "rebooted" my iPhone and it works flawlessly now. People forget the iPhone is a little computer so "restart" often does the trick. Other than that, there is quite a bit of functionality packed into a nice and easy interface (and easy to read as well). The price point is perfect as well. Two thumbs up.

Very Nicely Designed
Great application for quick conversions - the user interface is very beautiful and has nice iphone qualities from the layout to the color choices - it's a beautiful and very functional application - highly recommended.
Easy to use and intuitive
For my needs this is the unit converter of choice. I tried Units, but found the interface lacking and not easy to use. The interface of Converter is much easier to use and is much more intuitive. I also like the currency converter and the ability to keep the rates easily updated.
Great Conversion App
Tho is by far one of the best conversion apps available for the iPhone. I have been trying different conversion programs for work and really like this app for the look and feel. It is quick to change units and can enter either unit to convert with out and cumbersome "switch" conversion button.
The only things that are missing currently are conversions for pressure and torq. Also it would be good to add feet/minute to the speed conversion. I am sure that these additions will be added very soon.
Keep up the good work and keep adding more things to convert!
